It is a nice place to visit, situating just on the side of Highway, it is noisy but the Statue of Lord Shiva is the main attraction, one can have Lord Shiva, Har Ki Paudi and Mansa Devi temle in a single frame.

giant statue of lord shiva
May 2018 • Friends
this giant and imposing statue of lord shiva is visible from quite a distance because of its height. it is lit up and hence visible at night too. behind it is the har ki paudi where throngs of people gather for the evening ganga aarti. this is perhaps the largest statue of lord shiva in india.

The biggest Lord Shiva statue !!
May 2018 • Couples
Once you are in Haridwar and if you are walking along the ghats you will notice Lord Shiva statue, if you want to access to this place then just simple walk along the ghats or from the main road side as well, this statue is found in the Swami Vivekanand Park, where you just find this biggest statue and a little shrine to pray.
it is open to everyone and entrance is free for all.
5 minutes are enough to spend in this park.

The Massive Statue of Lord Shiva
Apr 2018 • Friends
The garden where this statue is located is accessible from the main road side as well. Just behind the statue, the Ganga river is flowing. The most amazing and exciting fact about the statue is its huge size. if you stand in front of the statue and raise your eyes to the top, you will get thrilled. The Size of Trishul is damn big and believe me or not for a second you will get goosebumps - yes, it's that big.
If one chose to do worship then he/she is free to do so. the garden area is pretty well maintained so spending some around before entering the gates of Ganga Ghat would be a great idea.

Tall and imposing Shiva statue is in this Park
Feb 2018 • Couples
The swami Vivekananda park can be reached by walking along the banks of River Ganga by about 200 meters from Har Ki Pauri. It is easily identifiable as you can see the very tall Shiva statue from any distance. There was not much crowd in the park when we went. There are flower gardens around. Tourists come to this place mainly to take their selfie with the imposing Shiva Statue as the background.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE
Sep 2017 • Couples
One has to cross over from the Har ki Pauri side of the river to reach this place. One has to take a rickshaw from Har ki Pauri (Rs 20/-) to the bridge and a three wheeler (Rs 10/- per person) to cross over the bridge and reach the park.

Beautiful little park to relax and spend some time far away from the crowds of the ghats. You just have to go there to feel the ambiance. There is a massive idol of Shivji and a normal one of Swami Vivekananda.

Nice break from the hustle and bustle of Haridwar
Aug 2017 • Couples
A little off the beaten path to get to via walking but easily accessible by car. This is a neat little "peninsula" park with a small, and in need of repair, playground, The Statue of Lord Shiva is quite impressive. A small alter for worship at the base and a different perspective from the bathers in the Ganges. A nice and relaxing park

Near Har ki Pauri
Apr 2017 • Family
This park can be identified by the big statue of Lord Shiv ji. A statue of Swami Vivekananda was also there. The maintenance of the park was average.
