Good park for a 2 hours escape

Nice park - give you an idea about the tropical fruit varieties at rain forrest.
Park is man made, but nicely arranged with easy accessible ways.
There are mosquitoes around...better to have protection with ;-)

Relaxing with through beautiful gardens
Feb 2019 • Friends
There are over 1,200 varieties of tropical and other plants mostly from South East Asia at this botanical garden which is within a tropical climate zone. It is a beautiful, well-organized and maintained botanical garden. The marvels of nature’s exotic tropical plants are on display. I learn how chocolate is produced from cacao, one of three beverage plants in the world. Chocolate is produced from the beans (essentiall the seeds) inside the pod-like fruit of the Theobroma cacao tree.

We loved this place. Lots to learn and see. Stop by the labs to learn about coffee and chocolate. No English at all, but we figured it out and the kids had fun

We took the golf cart/next time walk
Mar 2018 • Family
It was a nice little detour. Saw cocoa pods, vanilla bean plants, pineapple plants, coconut plants, coffee plants, then tasted their products. It’s a tourist picture taking trap. But it was interesting to see the local plants. My five year old was bored out of his brain, so that made it less pleasant. He is not really into botany. The golf cart went way too fast. BRING MOSQUITO REPELLENT or buy it there! I got bitten like crazy.

Fragrant and serene.

This place is heavenly with lakes and very lush greenery. It is free of charge to enter. There is a hotel with café and restaurant inside and bike hire. I have to say my bike was so uncomfortable I’m glad I only hired it for an hour. 100RMB deposit for the bike and the hire fee will be deducted on your return; 20RMB one hour, 30RMB two hours. You can hire for longer. Maybe the other bikes were less uncomfortable. You can cycle on all the green striped routes and it is a vast park. You would need a taxi or car or be able to walk the 1.4miles to the entrance from the main road.

This is a very unique experience. The demonstrators explains everything about plants and crops. High educational, resaerch and tourism value. Run by CATAS.
The tastes of different coffees and tasteist green teas, chocolates, coffees are unforgetable. Vanila and otger spice products are excellent. I reccomend this experience.

Nice gardens
Nov 2016 • Couples
The gardens have some nice parts, but then potential trranquility is spoiled by hordes of tourists with accompanying guides, that blare out information on loudspeakers.

Best go after the crowds have left (around 17:00-18:00)

Wonderful place to ride a bike
May 2016 • Business
Came here on a school trip. There are three recently opened bike trails through the tropical garden. Not too demanding. We did a 14 km loop. It was cloudy and there was a nice breeze to cool us down as we cycled around. Saw a lot of lush tropical vegetation including rubber trees with evidence of rubber tapping. Walking is also an option as the tropical garden is next door.

Very unique botanical garden with a wide range of plants to see. A place where you can try like 5-7 different cups of drinks, hot chocolate, coffee, and a wide range of teas

Relaxing walk with lots of different types of plants and fruit trees to see.
Dec 2014 • Family
We visited this place on our way to Sanya and we had a pleasant visit here. The ticket price per adult is 60RMB and children under 1.2 m pay a different rate. The guide who brought us around spoke in Mandarin( it is free). She is quite informative. We saw the vanilla orchid plant orchard, egg yolk fruit tree, coffee trees, star fruit trees etc. As the weather is cool, we enjoyed our walk and would love the explore the place if we have had the time. At the end of walk, we could sample many types of tea and coffee. It is worth visiting this place if one is interested in plant and nature.
