We had a great experience with Daniel and his team at Zanzibar Kite Paradise. We were 2 families with kids (8 and 10 years old) and the kids loved their first experience of kite surfing. Kite Paradise has quality gear including for the kids and the staff was very good, friendly (speaking a lot of languages)! We had 3 days of lessons adapted to the different levels we had. Overall a great experience.

Really great experience! High quality on all dimensions. And very service oriented. Since the school is approx ten minute walk from the village we had lots of space on the water. Daniel and the team rock. Thanks a ton!

We spent a week with our family to learn kitesurf at the kite Zanzibar paradies school. It was fantastic !
First, the place is number one in the island: less people than in front of Paje, white sand in front thus you can ride at low and high tide.
The materials is new with large range of size for everybody, kids include.
Daniel s team is top, really professional and fun
Tsiry, Cathia, Mohamed, Diego and Matti were our instructors and we highly recommend them.
Tsiry, Cathia and Mohamed have take care of our children and they have learned in a fun and safe way !
And there is also a team Jerry and Daodi who prepare everything for you, pump the kite, help to prepare the line and make sure that you can start and return and the beach with a lot of safety. They are here to make sure that the only thing you have to do is kitting !!
Thanks to everyone and for sure we will be back !!

I had Tsiry as my private kite instructor and I have to say I’m so satisfied. Tsiry has been incredibly professional and managed to help standing up and launch the kite and keep going. In my previous experiences I had always struggled with confidence and I was fearful about the power of the kite. But with Tsiry I gained all what I needed to feel confidence and fly the kite being comfortable with my leg position and ticking all the boxes to keep going. Inspiring teacher, careful and with a great positive mind. Thank you Tsiry!

Zanzibar Kite Paradise was a great experience for me. The instructors were patient, professional and friendly. They were also great about me getting the most value out of my lessons, by advising the best times, (tide and wind) to practice, and focusing on whats important, without packing the lesson with unnecessary details.
In foreign countries I sometimes experienced difficulty communicating with instructors due to language issues, but all the people at this school including support staff are super skilled, experienced and great communicators in English.
They use great equipment too, Ozone kites, and radios. A lot of local competitors do not use radios, which really slows down the lessons and knowlage transfer.
I even got a mini kite repair lesson for free on a low wind day, that was super interesting.
All in all, I highly recommend Zanzibar Kite Paradise and am so glad I chose them to successfully launch my Kitesurfing experience.

Undoubtedly the top kite school in Paje. Professional and multi lingual certified instuctors and top notch gear. Friendly staff. Very flexible. Best beach location away from the crowds.
Tsiry my instructor will make you a full fledged rider in no time!

Super nice and relaxed kitesurf school. Everyone was very helpful in getting you the right material. A real piece of paradise! My boyfriend was able to kite for a few days with rented equipment that was all fine. I had some lessons, from kite instructor Katya; relaxed, kind and gives super good tips to learn technique. Thanks to her I was able to make my first transitions (thank you!!). Recommended!

It was a great experience. The staff is very nice.
I had 6 hours lessons with Tsiry, French speaking teacher. He has been very patiente and with very good advise! He is the best! The place is amazing! I recommend this place, best place to practice and improve and have fun!!!

I am writing to you to clarify if it is ok to take beginners course for my husband as he is not a confident swimmer.
Could you share more information if life jackets are available during the course and how deep is the water before reef? How far he can go with a kite if he is 183cm high.

Hi Sorry for my slow answer, i hope it is stil relevant. Bakki is a great teacher and all equipment is provide do kite safely. Also you can start at low tide so you will always be able to walk on the water. Probably one of the best spots to start!! Enjoy :)

It depends how many days you take. But you should book in advance the are very busy because they are very good and therefore often booked out. So don’t expect to just walk in and start. Sometimes you have to wait 1 or 2 days.
I think my girlfriend paid around 180€ for 2 days each day 2-4 hours. This was 2 years ago. I usually just rent my gear from them.
Have fun on the island! It’s amazing. Especially Paje area.

Hi marcel we are arriving on 27th Feb for my partners 60th birthday treat he has always fancied kitesurfing his birthday is on the 5 th march. We are staying at ocean paradise hotel. How far are you from there and do you just turn up or do we have to book. We are a party of four.
