About The Zanzibar Dive Centre, One Ocean
Come and discover the amazing underwater world and the bottlenose dolphins at the famous Mnemba Atoll in the Indian Ocean. We are the only the dive operator in Zanzibar to have a dive centre in Stone Town on the west coast where we dive the reefs in front of Stone Town and we can do wreck dives and night dives. One Ocean is in-house with the full dive operation and boat launching site at Bluebay Beach Resort in Kiwengwa and Matemwe Beach Village in Matemwe. Inside Ocean Paradise Resort we have a booking office and pool facility! Kiwengwa and Matemwe are located on the north-east coast of Zanzibar close to Mnemba Atoll, with the best diving and snorkelling spot in Zanzibar! Dive packages can be shared among our different locations to give more variety to our divers. We have very high safety and environmental standards.

Ozzam and the boat crew were awesome. We did a 2-tank dive from a really cool wooden boat. The coral and fish were beautiful. We even saw a turtle. The "snacks" during the surface interval were incredible - a full silver platter of coconut and local delicacies. That alone totally spoiled me for US dives.

It was our first diving and the experience was amazing. The organization, the stuff and the location (Mnemba island) were perfect. I must say that both dives were really amazing. The stuff were professional and it was easy to feel comfortable even when it was our first diving experience. We strongly recommend the One Ocean.

A couple of month ago I've been advised by a friend of mine about this Dive Center in Stonetown, because my intentions were to get the Open Water Certificate: I am so delighted to have followed his advice. The Manager Hakim at the " reception" has been very helpful and kind both during the illustration of the course contents and during the days spent in the Center. The real protagonist of my path, however, has been my teacher Aakash, a real discovery: in fact, it is difficult to find teachers so patient, prepared, available and attentive to every single potential danger. I will be back in Zanzibar within the next 2 months and I am planning to complete the Advance course as well, after this marvelous experience with this guy: Aakash has been an example to follow in the Training World so I will be happy to continue the PADI journey with him. Congratulations again to Hakim and Aakash !!

Hello Roberto We are thrilled to read your review. Stone Town is such a good place to learn how to Scuba Dive. Great sea conditions, no currents and as you say its a dedicated and professional team. Hekima keeps us all going looking after so many details of the operation as well as taking great care of our customers. Aakash is a very calm, patient and talented instructor. He is brilliant with children too. We look forward to welcoming you back to do your Advanced and thank you for choosing One Ocean. Bye for now Gary
