Azrou is known for its cedar forest. There is no way to stay in the town without hiking in the forest. Karim was recommended by a friend and he lived up to our groups expectations. He is very patient, respectful, knowledgeable about the fauna & flora of the area. He is good at choosing spots where to stop for photos, answering the group's questions...
The time we spent with Karim was one of the highlights of the Morocco tour for our group.

Morocco Unexplored offers the best outdoor adventure opportunities in Morocco. The knowledge of Karim and hospitality is superb. I have been with Karim on three different adventures over the years that included fly fishing for rainbows and native brown trout, hiking, and camping. He is professional in all measures and ensures that each person has a memorable experience that they will remember for a lifetime. Thank you Karim for all you have done for me!

It was a great experience for our family !! Camping in the heart of the Cedar Forest in the middle Atlas.
Majestic nature, Giant ancient tall trees, beautiful weather, breathtaking sights and sunsets, challenging hikes ...
The crew was very friendly and helpful, full of stories to tell and informations to share.
The food was great, like homecooked meals !

We travelled to azrou with a group of 10 and were warmly welcomed under the wing of Karim and his family to experience an incredible amount of Moroccan and Berber culture. We ate like royalty all week, even when camping in the middle Atlas by campfire 🔥.
Accessibility was also paramount. We had a couple of less able bodies with us and this was not a problem at all as mules were provided for rough terrain transport and made for some great memories.

11/10 will definitely be going back again to explore more!!

We had a superb 7 hour day hike around Azrou with Karim, our very knowledgeable and passionate guide, nature lover, flora and fauna expert. We can't wait to be back for mushroom picking, fishing, cherry blossom viewing... each season offers its own surprises and Karim has all the knowledge. Merci Karim et Ă  bientĂ´t!

We went camping with my two kids (4 and 7 years old) in the Cedar Forest for a couple of days and we had an amazing experience. Karim and his team set up the campsite in a beautiful spot. the campsite had all the needed amenities and all the materials (tent, mattresses, sleeping bags etc.) were in excellent condition. But the best part was how Karim organized and tailored the activities for my kids. We did very nice walks and Karim helped the kids explore the forest, mixing play and learning activities. We also took a donkey for a longer walk, which is a great option for smaller kids. they loved it. The food was also great, fresh, varied and very tasty. I can only recommend Karim for camping/trekking especially with kids, but also without kids.

Hamid gave us a three hour guided tour in the middle of the forest of Azrou. He was very informative, paused often to give us fun facts about the geological history and biodiversity of the region. Highly recommend his services.

I had such a great experience snowshoeing with Karim. I very much appreciated his knowledge of the cedar forest with its ancient trees, as well as the paths we took to walk on pristine snow, spotting groups of wild monkeys.

Karim surprised me taking out a tea pot during lunch break and making a wonderful warm tea. It was so very comforting . The 5 and a half hour trek with the beautiful snow and the sun, guided by Karim, left beautiful memories of a wonderful scenery.

Exploring the Mid Atlas Mountains with Karim was an amazing experience. Everything was taken care of, nothing was too much trouble. The camping was brilliant, cosy woolen Djellabas & comfy tents, there was even a toilet tent!! When the trekking was a bit too much for me Karim rustled up a donkey for me to ride so that I wouldn't miss out. Anyone considering trekking in these parts should get in touch with Karim, he will without doubt provide a unique experience.
