Balmoral beach is mainly visited by locals, compare to other beaches in Sydney is not too crowded. Great place for family, just be cautious with the big pipings that runs from the beach to the water.

Balmoral is a very pretty beach, great for families, with a pool, plenty of trees if you don't want to be on the sand, lots of cafes & restaurants. Very busy on the weeken so hard to park.

This is a great place to relax on the beach, go in the water or walk on a path. There is a nice walking path and beautiful trees and other landscape. A restaurant is at the area as are washrooms.

Balmoral Beach would have to be one of my favourite beaches north of the Bridge in Sydney. The waters are very calm and clean, the sand is clean, there are shower points on the boardwalk and multiple ease of access steps from the walk way...More

A nice calm swimming beach with very little if any surf. Easy swimming and there are a number of cafes and bars close by for a post swim drink or nibble. Clean and tidy beach.

If you park right close to the beach, yes. If you don’t mind parking 200 mts away, you don’t pay.
