Balmoral feels like you are at an uncorked European beach, so pretty plus there are wonderful restaurants to visit, a great fish and chip shop, and lovely walk along the Esplanade

This is a nice protected beach, with a small island you can walk out on. It's very peaceful and safe.

First glimpse of an Ozzie beach. Lovely sand, safe for children. Nice stroll along the beach front. A nice selection of eateries. Judging by the number of people very popular with locals but not too busy. Still plenty of room for tourists.

Pristine beach with enough cafes and restaurants to keep it interesting. Weekends get crazy so get there early. Dog friendly walk along the esplanade.

We went on a Tuesday so it was a nice peaceful trip. Not too many people. Restaurants are good and nicely located. Would definitely go again on a quiet day as the weekend is extremely busy.

Best beach on the north shore. Nice and flat water. Gorgeous sand, not too packed. Great variety of restaurants/cafes for whatever your budget/vibe is. Friendly people. Dog friendly. Parking is a nightmare and can cost a fortune.

My husband and I love this beach! It has more of a small-town feel than what we'd experienced at Bondi, Manly, or Coogee. It was still a bit crowded, but there were plenty of areas to spread out in. The surf here is so calm,...More

its unique offering of antiques, designer labels, and
hip restaurants and cafes. Nature lovers can take in
