Overview
The Twin Falls are two winding waterfalls located in the picturesque Mt Aspiring National Park, a short drive from Wanaka. Most visitors just see them from the road, but you can get up close to them on this half-day climb that’s suitable for beginners and experts alike. See the National Park from a new perspective and take a dip in hidden pools you find during the climb.

This was such an awesome and unique activity, and such a great chance to push myself out of my comfort zone. The team were great too! It was really worth it and I would recommend it to everyone!

We booked for level 1 but ended up going to level 2 ( and paid the extra on the day) which was definitely worth it. We didn’t find it physically challenging because you get a breather every time you clip on and off. You have to focus while doing that which adds an element of mindfulness to the whole thing together with the beautiful views and a tame thrill hanging off the bridges leaves feeling like you’ve done something exciting but so you could still walk up Mt Iron straight afterwards.

Two adults and two boys aged 13, one with Down Syndrome and non-verbal, as a group with guide Maddie. The boys were a bit weary when we arrived, however the practice climb and the phenomenal guidance made them feel comfortable and confident. The climb has been a memorable experience for all of us, the boys already made plans for level 2 and 3 next time, thanks very much!

A fantastic experience for father and son. They had an amazing day completing the Wild Thing climb. The communication prior was first class - we knew where to be, when and what with. The guides were super - helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and made them feel confident and safe. Views were spectacular. We will be back to conquer the Lord of the Rungs!!

An incredible experience right in our backyard. Highly recommended if you are visiting or a local. My mum made it to the level 2 waterfall and she’s 67!! The best day. They even hid Easter eggs for us in the rocks on the way up. Thank you!!
