We would highly rate this company. Heidi our tour guide was amazing and very informative. Our first time to the region and have come away with a lot of knowledge and wine! The grazing platter was delicious as were the wine tastings. Fun and friendly all round! Don’t look anywhere else!

Had the most lovely time with Heidi as our guide. Heidi was so passionate and generous in sharing stories about the places we went to, going out of the way to show us gorgeous spots that only a local like her would know. P.S. I still have the thyme with me and it still smells amazing! Tour wise, we had a good mixture of vineyards and got to try a nice variety of wines. Each tasting was unique in their own way and the cheese platter was sublime. I recommend this tour to both old-time wine lovers or new drinkers just starting out to explore what they like. Nothing better than being driven around to drink! All in all, we had the most wonderful time. We couldn't have found a better guide to share this experience with. Thank you so much, Heidi!

On Saturday 2nd of April we did a tour with Wanaka Wine Tours and our Host for the day was John Brake. John was an outstanding host, very humorous and highly knowledgeable about the wider Wanaka area and wineries. Our day involved visiting 2 wineries in Wanaka - Fiona at Aitkens Folly and Letetia at Rippon (fabulous views at Rippon!) then we headed to Cromwell. A beautiful platter lunch was taken at Wooing Tree where Melissa took us through a selection of their wines. Next up was a visit to the famous Felton Road area in Bannockburn. We went to Te Kano which has a fantastic view over the Kawarau River and the Bannockburn area. Colly looked after us at Te Kano followed by tastings with Jenny at Domain Road . Our last winery of the day was Nanny Goat which was a superb winery and got our vote for the favourite winery of the day. Paddy at Nanny Goat didn't need to twist our arms too much to join their wine club! Our favourite wines of the day where the 2014 Pinot Noir from Aitkens Folly, the Blondie 2021 from Wooing Tree and the Cross Breed 2019 (Gewurtztraminer/Pinot Gris/Chardonnay) from Nanny Goat. Thanks John, Megan and Scott for a + 5 star tour. Absolutely superb day out with Wanaka Wine Tours. Cheers Tom & Jill and Brent & Sally.

Hi Tom, Jill, Brent and Sally. We're really pleased you loved the tour. We are very happy to have guides of John's caliber, and obviously we're blessed to have such great wine and scenery to go with it. Enjoy your wines, when they arrive, and look forward to coming out with you guys around the Wairarapa at some point. Cheers!

We booked a boutique wine tour with Wanaka Wine Tours and were so blown away by the experience. We were hosted by the owner of the business, Scott - a super fun guy who was extremely knowledgable about wines and the overall terrain. He picked us up from our accomodation, and we were pleasantly surprised to see we were the only ones on the tour! My partner and I were visiting Wanaka for a couple of days before heading off to Queenstown, and this was honestly the highlight of our trip. Not only did we get to taste some delicious wines, learn a thing or two, (lots) but also got to get out a bit further from Wanaka central and take in more scenery! Something we would not have done otherwise! We went into the tour being avid Pinot Noir drinkers and to be honest, quite turned off to any white wine, however Scott said at the start of the trip to try and have an open mind as we were about to taste some super yum Rieslings. I was a bit reluctant, but myself and my partner walked away reborn as Riesling lovers. I even found myself ordering a Riesling with dinner the following night! Very bizarre for this gal, folks! Not only did we get amazing hospo from Scott for the duration of four hours, but he even offered to quickly run us off at our camp to drop off our haul of wines, and then drop us back in town to our dinner spot. What a guy! Scott, we owe you a big bottle of Ries and cant thank you enough for your generous hospitality and for giving us such an amazing day. I hope we see you again soon! - Alex and Cassie
