A great place to stop for the fresh salmon and the great view. Lake Pukaki is one of the most beautiful lake in South Island, staffs were nice and the salmon was so fresh! We will be back when we visit South Island again!

The salmon is so fresh and delicious, we went back for a second helping. Just love the sashimi. It comes with little soy sauce and wasabi sachets.

The salmon sashimi is so fresh and so good. You can get a couple or some fish eggs if that's a thing for you and some drinks to enjoy it at the benches over looking the lake.

Nice place but can be really packed when the tour buses stop there. It was fun feeding the salmon. I saw people fishing nearby - free salmon?

For 35NZ, you could get 500gram of salmon sashimi, it was so much, we couldn't finish it. But remember, everything else was additional: soya sauce, wasabi, ginger... You could not miss this place as its at the edge of Lake Pukaki. Next to the visitor...More
