If you can, pay a little extra to sit up in the Captain's lounge where you can get unlimited snacks and drinks with more room to stretch your legs. It's an efficient way to get from island to island. You can check in luggage.

Had a seat in the sun on the second deck and watched the other beautiful Islands and resorts on our way to our holiday destination good wind down experience.

We were staying at the Octopus Resort and booked the Yasawa Flyer from the mainland. I couldn't recommend it more. The alternatives would have been sea plane or speedboat, neither of which I fancied in windy weather. It was very efficient and stable -the sea can be really rough on this stretch. On our return trip, waves were crashing over... More

Great way to travel the Yasawas. Staff really organised when it comes to your stop - they have a good system of managing those coming on and off the boat at the same time. Definitely does not run on "Fiji time", I think it might have only been ten minutes late on one of our trips :)

The multitude of islands in the Yasawa group is impressive. Many too small to have people living on them, but taking an excursion on the ferry is a great way to spend an afternoon. You'll see some stunning resorts (including over-water bungalows and a large amount of sea life.

My group and I used this ferry as part of our day trips out to the islands. If you're heading for the Yasawas I'd recommend the bottom part that is air conditioned as it is quite a trek until you get there. Loved stepping outside onto the front of the Ferry for amazing views!

If you are travelling to the Yaswas be prepared for a longer trip than quoted, especially on the return to Denaru. The yellow boat is reasonable with proper seats and it'sa bit faster, but despite being booked on the Yaswa Flyer, we got a slower South Seas ferry back and it took over an hour longer than when we went... Bula I am sorry to hear that you had discomfort whilst travelling with us. It was unfortunate that you had a slower trip on your return to Port Denarau. We had large number of passengers returning to Port on that day and drop-offs and pickups at the various resorts. This is why your pickup had reached Yasawas later than expected.... More

I booked on the Yasawa Flyer Ferry only to find out it had been booked by a cruise ship and we were put on a South Se Cruises Ferry instead. I was not told of this till being issued with the ticket on arrival. The South Sea cruises ferry was slower and we arrived an hour later than scheduled. People... More

Bula We apologise that you were disappointed that you were not able to board the Yasawa Flyer. The vessels movement for each day is determined by the operations team. The Yasawa Flyer and South Sea Cruises are under the same management and when need arises the vessels are allocated accordingly to suit all transfers for the day. The team at... More

We caught the Yasawa Flyer out to South Sea Island, then on with the Combo Cruise to see some of the other islands. Transfers from the hotel were easy, timings ran like clock work most of the time. The ferry itself was tidy, and the commentary was good.

Nice, relaxing scenic boat ride on the way back from our stay at Paradise Cove. I was concerned about the luggage but the crew handles everything well. Folks use it as a sight seeing tour but we used it as a ferry and it was perfect.
