We booked this excursion through our hotel in San Juan (Courtyard Isla Verde) and it included transportation and lunch. 1/2 hour speed boat ride to a snorkeling site (they have all the equipment), then 1/2 hour to Flamenco Beach, which is lovely. The on-boat staff are great. Special shout out to Joey! He was amazing - saw him making sure he connected with every person on our tour (about 20 people - a hood and manageable group). Free drinks on board but don’t think you’ll be getting much cause the drinks seem watered down, but they are tasty, so to me that didn’t matter at all. Our tix included free transportation from our hotel which was great, too. Definitely recommend as you’ll learn a lot and see one of them most beautiful beaches in the US!

The boat was impeccably clean, the crew was insanely nice and the ride out to the most beautiful beach I've ever seen was well worth the money. The tour was so well organized. Everything from lunch to the rum drinks and snorkeling gear was so efficiently ready for all guests on board. My 6 and 9 year old boys loved jumping off the boat and their first time snorkeling was a vacation favorite. Flotation belts made swimming to shore very easy and the staff took a dry bag so that our cell phones, etc made it without getting wet. (Neither of my kids had a hard time swimming to or from the boat, but staff was willing to guide them on a boogie board if needed).
I HIGHLY recommend this boat tour. Culebra island was seriously the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Snorkeling was so amazing over the reefs. The crew couldn't be much nicer or more accommodating. I would rate this 10 stars if I could.

What a great day. After being picked up in front of our lodging, on a day with good weather, we were able to get to a better snorkeling area than normal and although the boat ride was a little long, it was definitely worth it. The problem arose when my wife and I stayed in the water too long as lunch was put out. Sadly, another customer took our lunch bag so when we got back on the boat, we had no food?? However, Deo and crew, immediately went into action, contacted a sister vessel close by and my wife got a vegetarian meal prepared for her .. and delivered .. right away. So what could have been a problem, was actually handled quite nicely, which just added to the experience. Definitely recommend this side trip to anyone.

this was the most unprofessional facility i have dealt with in puerto rico. me and my friends booked a boat tour and also paid extra for transportation. we were supposed to be ready to be picked up at 7am…the driver calls at 6:55am and says he arrived and hangs up. did not tell us what car he was in or what side of the building he was waiting for us at..we proceeded to call him and it is only 7:04am he finally answers after calling off of a DIFFERENT number he did not recognize. he says he waited long enough and we needed to call the office..we call the office and they too cannot get in control with the driver for over 30 minutes (or at least that’s what they said) we ask for a refund and she says the can only give us $60 back….after we paid over $200 for EVERYTHING! will never book with this place again

Dear titalyae
On the day of your pick up the driver call you before arriving to the property and as stated pick up is in front of the hotel by the lobby, once the driver was at the property he called you and got the same response " we are on our way" he proceeded to call 3 more times. Our company policy the waiting period its 8 min after that the bus has to moved to the next property, once the driver leaves san Juan he can't return. We apologies for your negative experience with our company.

For a little adventure, the day boat tour with Tobias is the way to go. The trip includes snorkel gear, food and drinks but the best part was the stop at the most spectacular beach of Puerto Rico called Culebra, where you swam to shore and had time to walk and enjoy the beach. The guides were great and attentive and made sure the drinks keep flowing....😀

We were booked to go to Culebra Island but the sea conditions were apparently too rough to go that far so we were given the choice of canceling or going to Icacos instead. We opted to go anyway and are so glad we did. The Tobias crew showed us a fabulous time taking us to 2 different great snorkeling spots and then on to Icacos for fun at the beach and in the crystal clear turquoise water. During snorkeling, Oscar was a great guide pointing out turtles, stingrays, octopus and many other local colorful fish. Siri and Dali (spelling?) were great hosts on board and even served unlimited drinks and fresh cut fruit from a floating bar as we floated along the shoreline. Our captain G (spelling?) gave us a smooth ride and allowed us to enjoy 2 snorkeling stops. Hotel transportation with Elliot was perfect and timely. He is incredibly personable and timely. He provided helpful insight into local restaurants and other activities. Even though we didn’t visit Culebra, we had a great outing and are very happy that we spent the day with the Tobias crew.

Booked a boat and snorkeling tour through the concierge at our resort. Email confirmations verified times and provided tips on what to bring. Pickup van arrived on time and took us to the marina. After a quick fitting for the snorkeling gear and brief instructions from the crew, we were ready to board for adventure.
The trip we booked took us to a shallow reef, where we snorkeled for about 45 minutes and enjoyed a free snack (the veggie wraps are delish!), before traveling to our actual destination: The white soft sand beaches and turquoise waters of Flamenco Beach on the island of Culebra -- which is absolutely paradisical!
We spent about an hour and a half swimming with angel fish, lounging on floaty matts, enjoying cocktails served in the surf, and taking selfies on the beach. It was an amazing experience and we would recommend anyone visiting Puerto Rico to take a day and explore the adjacent islands.
A HUGE shout out goes to the crew! Oscar, Emanuel, Tito and Joey were bimming with enthusiasm and know-how, always looking after us, offering free beverages, helping with snorkeling gear, etc. At one point my kid thought she had been stung by a jellyfish and they showed great patience & care looking after her.

We took the trip with our 2 teenagers and had a fantastic time. The snorkeling was great, lunch was good and Flamenco beach was absolutely beautiful.
The only downside was the ride out to the snorkeling location. The ride was pretty rough and although none of us got sick, many of the other passengers did so I would recommend taking something for motion sickness if you need to.
The ride back was nice and the crew made the trip fun
I would do the trip again!

Our family of eight first booked the Catamaran but there was an issue and we were moved to the motor boat at no extra cost. The day before our trip our route to the island we were scheduled for was changed due to weather conditions. Through all the changes everyone I was in contact with was great and professional. Overall the trip was Absolutely Amazing!!! The crew was awesome. So friendly, helpful, and a blast to be around. Wonderful experience. We went to 3 different islands which were all breathtakingly beautiful. The boat ride was fun. Lunch was tasty and the drinks were great. Thanks again Dolly, Angel, Dwight, and of course Captain Tyrone.

What an awesome day to remember forever.
The snorkeling was great saw lots of fish, coral, eel, barracuda, jelly fish and ray. The trip to the island was a lot of fun for those that want to walk in the sand, hang out on the beach, boat, or keep swimming around. The water was very clear and very warm.
The crew was great, very helpful, accommodating and good conversation hearing the stories about hurricane Maria, first hand experience of what it was like on the island during the hurricane.
All around it's a must have when visiting Peurto Rico and if you like the water you'll love it. Reminder to reapply sun screen inbetween water locations and a rash guard was key for more sun coverage for those that burn easily. The boat had all the sun coverage you want which was helpful too.
I was very lucky they let me on as I booked another boat for a Friday later not realizing I had the date messed up (recomend double checking the day and bringing extra food just incase). They only had lunches for crew that scheduled, but had a little snack and didn't want to miss the experience as was flying out the next day. The captian El C. brought home grown mangos that shared with me and was a unique experience always wanting to try home grown mangos as one of my favorite food.
One of my favorite days in Peurto Rico.

Is there music on the boat? has anyone felt the boat is too small? is there a good amount of places on the boat to sit and drink in the sun?
Written April 7, 2017
I believe there is music on the boat. Plenty of room for sitting in the shade or in the sun with a cocktail. The boat is not too big or too small. When we stopped they let us jump off from the top into the water, so fun! I highly highly recommend this tour!!!

has anyone felt they wanted to stay on flamenco beach longer?
if so, is there anyways of transportation back if you want to stay on the beach? (if that is an option)
Written April 7, 2017
Flamenco is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, there is a ferry that goes to Culebra, but you will need to manage how to get from the beach to the small port. The ferry is unexpensive this is the
These are some taxis, please call them before, so you know if they can pick you, Flamenco beach is a little far from the town:
look for Culebra ferrys and taxis there is a page that gives a lot of information
