These guys are awesome and seven seas is surprisingly an amazing snorkeling spot despite what you might have read. We planned our trip to PR knowing that we absolutely HAD to snorkel a few times. We booked a bioluminescence bay in la parguera to the south, a trip in flamenco beach in culebra and a trip to icacos island just off of fajardo to the north east. We planned on just filling in at seven seas but all of this was based on comments of other travelers, most stating that icacos is a MUCH better experience than seven seas. Upon arrival, everything changed. We attempted to board our ferry to culebra only to be told that they were down ferry and if we went we might not be able to make it back, so that was a no go. Instead we went to the kioskos for food and swam at the beach out front, only to get smashed into the sand by shore pounders. Fun but not ideal lol. Next day, we made our way to Puerto chico for our icacos trip aboard el kraken. The crew was very nice and the drinks were awesome (the coco libre is legit) but the snorkeling was very sub par and icacos itself is a very tiny beach. Next day, we started out to la parguera only to be called halfway there to be notified that they cancelled the trip due to other customers cancelling; not too professional. On our way home we decided to salvage our trip and just go with the pirate shack at seven seas and thankfully we did because it was the highlight of our trip! The guide is extremely knowledgeable and the waters were clear and abundant with a large variety of species of fish. There's a huge puffer fish the size of two footballs that is always hanging out by the buey. The guide went out of his way to spot all sorts of things from lobsters to sea horses. All sorts of different corals as well! To sum it up, don't listen too much to the comments. Oceans change as well as people's perspectives. Not sure why others prefer icacos but definitely try this place out. Half the price and for me it was twice the experience

Seven Seas beach is really lovely and the folks at Pirate Snorkeling made it easy to enjoy it. We kayaked out a bit and then came back and snorkeled. We were first timers and a little nervous, but it is pretty easy - especially with good and patient teachers. This is a trip that is worth it! Highly recommend a swim shirt when snorkeling as your back is exposed to the sun most of the time.

We had a great time! My sister & I wanted to do some type of water activity during our trip, and this was definitely the best deal for doing both kayaking & snorkeling. Hector was our guide, and he was absolutely amazing! He made us feel safe, and comfortable the whole time, while also giving us an adventure. His vibes were light, and positive, and we also got a historical lesson on Puerto Rico! The location was beautiful! Clear water, with different tones of green & blue, and you can see El Yunque while in the water. The other workers were also super nice, and helpful. They offered us snacks, and sodas. The only thing is that the sea grass stings a lil so try not to touch it haha. Either way, it goes away on its own. 10/10 recommend this experience! It was perfect, and completed our trip :)

Thank you for this beautiful review. Sharing the love I feel for my beautiful island is my mission. The colors, the flavors and the infinite culture of my Borinquen must be shared with each visitor who arrives to Puerto Rico. It was an honor to share with you.

We were a family of eight, including a 7 and 8 year old and a 80 year old. Hector was our guide and he was amazing he had so much patience with my 80-year-old mom and seven-year-old grandson. Most of the group had never snorkeled before and they had the time of their lives. Hector treated us like family calling us each by our names, I’m not sure how he did that but he did his homework. The beach area was gorgeous I’ve been to Puerto Rico many times and I had never been there before. We saw many different types of fish. I would definitely recommend this tour to all family with kids and elderly. Hector said that my mom who is almost 81 was the oldest person he ever taught, and he made sure she had the best experience ever. We will definitely be back that’s how much we enjoyed it. Also the price was very reasonable being that we were a family of 8 it gets to be very costly but this was very well worth it. We brought our own snorkel gear but winded up using his, which he assured us were cleaned and sanitized. Everything was very organized and they also gave us snacks at the end which was nice especially when you have teenagers and small kids that are always hungry. We purchased a case from him so we were able to use our phone and take great pictures. If you are thinking about booking do not hesitate, you will definitely enjoy yourself.
