Situated by the river with lovely lawn leading straight to the river edge, quaint little pub, old fashioned, lots of sayings, old turf cutting tools etc, friendly staff, worth a visit.

Bobs bar is set at the bridge on the road into Durrow. There’s lots of photographs, information and curiosities within the three or four rooms that make up the bar. There is also a seating area next to the river and is quite a beautiful spot. There are also river walks which can take you up to the castle.

My husband and I stopped in here for a pint before dinner. The place has tons of artifacts scattered throughout the rooms. We chose a table by the large glass windows that overlooked gardens/the river. It was a great place to enjoy a pint of Guinness. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Durrow!
