We took a small group tour (4 people) with a local company. We were provided with all essential tools. We drove off road, walked to the lagoon at the foot of the glacier, and took a small boat to the glacier where we got a...More

Very disappointing to bump along the road almost the whole way there and then find that the bridge is gone and we can go no further! There was a river blocking our path, a fairly big one, definitely no way through. Bits of mangled bridge...More

The bridge was probably destroyed recently and the new way to get to the glacier is either much longer or non existent. It was close to night time so we drove back to the main road and did not attempt the hike. Great view though,...More

A short jaunt down a fairly well maintained gravel road takes you right up to the face of this glacier, which is calving into a lagoon. Icebergs of all sizes are floating around, and you can walk quite close to them and then around the...More

This glacier is incredible! You must not miss the chunks of glacier that have broken off and floating down into the ocean. The colors are surreal.

One day or a few hours of it is not enough, or at least it was not enough for me, loved every minute of it and they had to drag me out. One of my favorite places on earth.

I had a lot of fun there, me and my friends went there thru a tour agency called "into the glacier", everything about the glacier was explained, the visit to the ice cave as well as over the glacier with a nice pure water drinking...More

The glacier was not all that much, but the ice caves were beautiful and worth the trip. We have gone hiking on a glacier in Alaska and this one was very different. The beautiful blue colors that we saw in Alaska on top of the...More
