We were lucky enough to arrive before weather got worse so had photos of a whole lagoon with amazing view of the glacier!. They provide big jackets and do the safety brief. Boats are not too big, staff is very friendly and talk about interesting...More

The location was a few kilometers past the larger glacier lagoon. The guide was very informative and humorous. This lagoon is much larger than it looks. The waters are milky as it has only 1 direction of flow into the ocean. The other tour company...More

We thoroughly enjoyed the 1 hour long experience. You start with suiting up (over your regular clothing) in a flotation suit and flotation vest before boarding a bus that take you up to where the zodiac boat departs. Once in the zodiac, a full hour...More

My wife and I did both this and the Jokulsarlon . It would be difficult to say which is the better, they are both excellent.

This was an amazing stop and tour. Although it is a smaller lagoon, it is way less crowded and only one boat company operates out of it. Smaller boats (10 people) so a more private experience, less expensive, and incredible mountain and glacier views!! Shout...More

We join a ride with our 3 kids, it was very unique experience to see the broken pieces of glacier floating in the water. The group was not big and we could get detailed explanation from the guide.
