Nice hilltop monument with views over Shumen and the surrounding area. There is a small terrace with a bar near the observatory and a paragliding platform nearby.

The monument was built on the Shumen Plateau. Huge in size, he shows the majesty of the first Bulgarian state. All the khanes and kings of the First Bulgarian state are displayed with huge statues.

This is one of the favorite spots for people from the city - we go there all the time for sport and walks around nature. You can either take the stairs which start from the Theatre in town or drive there.

dont know what barriers there might be to stop cars, but if its still light you should have no problems
