What a gem! For the nature lovers who stay on the quiet side of Barú (so not Boquete) this is 100% assured a great way to spend half a day. Grab a chocolate and slice of home made pie when you've taken photos of the hundreds of different flowers and plants.

What a beautiful place. More lush than I’ve probably ever seen. And Jorge was a very friendly guide (don’t let him tell you his English is bad, it’s great!)

Finca Dracula is worth a trip to this part of Panama. We were there just before Covid started. We enjoyed seeing the countryside away from major cities. Finca Dracula is tucked into a mountain hillside. There are paths to walk, flowers to admire. If you are an orchid fan, you will love seeing their collection. This is such an unusual place, and worth seeing.

You have to make an appointment online in order to visit… But we made an appointment that included brunch which was excellent and so much delicious food! The gardens and the variety of orchids were so beautiful and there’s a nice walk to the top of the hill/mountain (Quetzal trail) with beautiful views if you want to get a little exercise. The service was very good, parking was free, and we really enjoyed ourselves and recommend going there!

amazing experience! First of all the place is beautiful and well maintained, the garden is simply mesmerizing! We announced in advance that we were vegan, arrived for breakfast and it was very tasty! The most delicious food we have eaten in Panama so far. Chickpea omelet with vegan cheese and mushrooms, excellent salad with strawberries and dipped potatoes. A non-vegan morning included an excellent egg Benedict. The experience was amazing, the staff was informative and sociable and in short, a must visit! Thank you

The food is really amazing. Basically the tour is self guided with an app but it includes a meal. In our case since we went in the afternoon the meal was a sandwich and a dessert. I found the orchids really interesting.

We booked our tour online with the coffee option. This is an amazing deal. The food and coffee were fantastic. It turned out to be our lunch: a sandwich and 3 little desserts. Yum! The finca was beautiful and informative. It is a self guided tour with a QR code in place for each area. The guide was very informative. We spent almost 2 hours exploring and eating. This is a must see if you are in the area.

We hadn't been to Finca Dracula for a number of years. There have been many improvements made since the last time we were there. We enjoyed the self-guided tour which is available in English and Spanish. We also had a personal tour of the new succulents garden. The garden was delightful and we were impressed with the variety and beauty of these plants. Our experience at Finca Dracula was definitely rewarding and memorable!

Beautiful day at Finca Drácula! My teenagers enjoyed climbing the Quezatel Flight to see the amazing views of Cerro Punta. My dad enjoyed the hiking and my mom loved the orchid exhibit. There is truly something for everyone that enjoys nature.

Entry includes a group tour of the orchid collection in Spanish or English. You learn about cultivation and breeding, and of course the famous Dracula orchid bred here. Aftrewards you can spend as long as you like enjoying the extensive tropical garden. There is a cafe on site. Cerro Punta is a very attractive top end of a valley. The steep valley sides are cultivated, for growing vegetables up to the continuous forest cover along the ridges. It is very picturesque. Finca Dracula is a short walk from the bus stop (there is a frequent service from David about an hour away). No problem parking a car. There are beautiful walks up into the hills, and guided bird watching is rewarding and easily arranged. There are a few hotels, private rooms and restaurants in the neighbouring village, and a lovely flower nursery. Well worth a couple of days stay or longer..
