This mirados has great views of Matagalpa city and you can also enjoy a walk surrounder by nature. It's definitely a place everyone should visit when they go to Matagalpa.

I guess going here on a Sunday afternoon was a bad idea. Way too packed with loud children hitting the fences with sticks and yelling. Also made possible by the fact that this place is accessible by car. A place for lazy visitors. The view...More

A nice fashionable bus will take you there for a little money. Or you can go by car or by taxi as well. In the place there are services like drinkls and food. A Masterpiece walk-in-the-clouds.

The view is beautiful and super cheap outing, we paid about $1.00 for four people (entry fee and parking). It also, has a small restaurant. The drive is really steep and it’s mostly on a dirt road, I wouldn’t recommend it if it’s been raining.

It's not only full of local history, but offers an observation tower overlooking the city and a monument on top of a hill that overlooks the city,

It's a hard hike up there, but it's totally worth it. You see the town and the surrounding mountains. You can go through the catholic church's property where you can see some crosses (easy 30 minute walk) or you can go through the natural reserve...More

Nice view of city and surrounding mountains and cross. No worth an expensive trip or long walk but not much to do in town.
