We were planning to go to Sai Kaew Beach but ending up here. The problem of most of Sattahip beaches are you need to go pass all these solider or sailor guarded gate in the main road. I am sure it is particularly harder for foreigners like us. Especially if you relied on google map with little information on restricted road. We were turned away by solider in many occasion. But we were glad to reach this beach.
It is funny experience sitting at the restaurant, seeing solider jogging and shouting. The food at the restaurant is cheap and really good.
Back to the beach. We went there when the tide coming in. There was no beach for sand castle. But the water is clean, crystal clear and warm. The sand is fine with no rocks at all, and you can see many fish swimming below you. It is also very shallow, you can wander 20-30 meter away from the coast but your head is still above the water level. My 3 years old loved to swim there as she felt safe with the shallow and calm water.

Turned away because I was a foreigner. Went with my Thai family but not allowed in. But when up the road about 3km to Ambassador hotel to a great beach. Guard made sure we had a good parking spot. Nice coffee shop over looking the beach.

Went here with the whole family and where not allowed to enter by the military. So for anyone wanting to go to the beach, find somewhere else:)

We had lunch at the restaurant operated by the Royal Thai Navy. The beach is clean. The beach was crowded on Saturday. The food was acceptable.

Weird, last month went past the army no problem. Today wouldn't let me in,lived here 20 years with a wife child, business here.

For the triathlon open water swim, the water was clean and access was very good because it was race supported. I've heard that this is an area prone to jelly fish infestations, but we had no such problems. The day prior to the race I was there to pick up race information and saw what the public beach areas are like: crowded, a bit worn around the edges, but a high degree of Thai families obviously enjoying their Saturday outings. Getting down there requires going through Royal Thai Navy security, which wasn't a problem but one can see how it could inhibit some access.

Toei Ngam beach by local bus?
Or is it Toey as Google says;
Anyway Is there a way to go to this beach (particurarly าดเตยงาม beach but I do not know the name in English) from some train station, just using a baht bus or other, and vice versa if possible? Thanks in advance.
