My tour company organized this tour. We were driven inside the park hoping to see leopards. We saw some crocodiles, deer, wild boar, monkeys, Buffalo and a variety of birds. Towards the end we saw some elephants. I would recommend doing the eco tours near Sigiriya as we saw over 40 elephants there. The road was particularly bad due to the rains. It was disappointing to not see any leopards. Otherwise it’s a three hour ride in some beautiful countryside and forest. Lots of other jeeps too.

We went with Kumara and only paid 15000 rp per person. He took us all morning on the Safari with his assistant. That day there weren't many animals, but he saw an elephant from very far away and approached so that we could see him up close without him getting bothered.
He took us for lunch and dinner to authentic places full of local places, where he advised us on the best dishes.

Great experience & driver very knowledgeable. Although you are not guaranteed to see a leopard they try their best to hunt one out for you and there many other animals to see including unusual birds and elephants. Our hotel, Flameback Eco Lodge, provided us with snacks & water which was a nice touch too! There is also lovely scenery whilst you drive about - would recommend!

This safari was brilliant. Our guide was personable and very knowledgable of the national park and all of its inhabitants. The team prepared a breakfast for the journey to the park (around 20min drive). We arrived to watch the sunrise and saw a lot of animals. The tour was great as it did not follow a convoy of trucks and we felt it was not like a commercial safari (we experienced this elsewhere with 30 jeeps following one animal). A great experience and would recommend.

We enjoy very much every single minute of the journey. I´d like to highlight the enthusiasm of our guide in his attempt to show us the best animals of the safari, thanks to him we could even see the leopard.
Definitely a worthwhile experience for animal lovers.

Experience was awesome yala national park .... Our driver arrived as planned at 5am and jetted us off to the park straight away. The safari was absolutely incredible We really wanted to see Leopards and saw a leopard within 5 minutes of entering the park, on the track right in front of us. We also saw herds of elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, a sloth bear, eagles, bee-eaters, and absolutely everything we wanted to see. We stopped at the beach for lunch and wandered around, ate our delicious curry provided and then slept in the truck, as we were exhausted after an early start.

sew plenty of elephants, crocodiles, mongoose, deer, boar but not any leopards or bear. The driver was very good at taking us around and gave us plenty of photo opportunities.

It was an incredible experience. We even saw a leopard! Arranging the tickets was easy and fast. In the morning the driver picked us up and we went to the Yala park. We were one of the first in the park. The driver did his utmost to show us all the animals. He explained what the intention was and had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast with him! A downside is that when an animal is spotted somewhere, many cars come to it.
