Fantastic museum.. Very interesting for the children. Amazing number of shamplings. Luckily it is taking care of the petrified forest as well declared as a protected natural area.

Definitely, a must see on Lesbos. Rich and an unbelievable collection of fossils. The ticket is only 5 euros, but it worths more and more!!! Very friendly and educated staff! They have an earthquake simulator and real time sismograph located in the museum.
