The canyoneering adventure was a blast. Maddie gave us a personalized experience that made us feel comfortable but allowed us to push our limits and learn as we went.

We booked the afternoon half day Canyoneering trip during Thanksgiving week. Our guide, Marley met us at the Kolob road junction (15 minutes drive from Springdale) and we followed him up to Lambs Knoll (20 minutes drive). Marley had his mask on the entire time and followed covid protocols. We were fitted with helmets, harnesses when we got to the parking lot. We started our moderately easy hike to our first rappelling stop. Marley was very good with my young kids (ages 7, 9) and gave us some fun facts about the canyon. The kids had great interaction with him the entire time. During our 4 hour trip we climbed, rappelled 3-4x and walked through narrow crevices. We felt safe the entire time. There were other people rappelling but all at a safe distance. We really enjoyed the scenery. Will definitely do the tour with Rock Odysseys again!

If you are in Zion you have to try canyoneering! It is such a great way to see these rock formations deep in the canyons. Our guide Allie was really exceptional. She went over and above to make sure we were safe and having as much fun as possible. I was a little nervous at first, but Allie helped me overcome my anxiety and really enjoy the experience. It was also nice that Allie knew a lot about the area and the formations around us. We had such a fun time - i cannot recommend it enough. Over 7 days on the trip and that was definitely our highlight! Thanks Allie!

My sister and I have the best time with Rock Odyssey. Everyone who worked in the office was very nice and went above and beyond to accommodate us (thank you Heidi & Zach). We ended up having a private tour with Madi D. who is wonderful guide! She was so helpful and knowledgable and personalized the trip based on how we were doing on each climb. I would highly recommend Rock Odyssey and Madi again and when I return to Zion I will definitely be booking another trip with them.

Our guide Ally was amazing with great energy! She was awesome with my kids and made them feel comfortable since it was our first time canyoneering. Also, I’m afraid of heights but felt really safe with her guidance. My family had so much fun..thanks Ally!!
