Welcome to Zion Country Off-Road Tours, the leader in the off-road tour industry. Providing ATV, UTV, and Jeep Tours. We are a locally owned and operated company that lives by the motto ‘Honesty, Integrity, and Respect’ and we would love the opportunity to serve you while in this area. Through trial and error, we have come up with unique tour routes in order to provide our guests an interactive and explorational tour experience. Come see for yourself views that rival the Grand Canyon and experience just how quiet and peaceful this area can be. Other tour companies try to follow in our footsteps and they simply can’t make it #LOL! Seriously though, we provide you with a genuine off-road tour experience that is unlike any other tour offered in this area. Offering guided ATV or UTV tours and private or non-private jeep tours. We were looking forward to a ride through the backcountry of Zion to experience some of the sights we would not see from the confines of the park. Everyone assembled on time and from the start you could tell that the guide liked his job. He immediately put everyone at ease. Displayed interest, shared information, demonstrated responsible driving skills, included everyone we had a great time, ;learned a lot about the area and saw some spectacular sights. Would highly recommend this to friends coming to the area,

Incredible Southern Utah

Zion Country Off Road Tours did a tremendous job taking a small group (6) of us into the back country at the top of the mountains. Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable of the area, history and geology. He also was studied up on the local horticulture and was able to share with us “survival” techniques and what to use and not to use if you were stuck out in it. This country was very harsh and what I consider unforgiving but he shared ways to deal with it if necessary. I found this to be useful information. I’m regretting that I’ve forgotten his name. He was a full time guide and does winters in Africa doing similar work. He was an interesting guy himself.

We were in a Jeep which is designed to do what it does. Our driver did a great job entertaining us but at the same time keeping us safe and not creating a ride that was uncomfortable.

All in all the tour was fantastic and worth the cost of admission!

Your tour guide Josh had an amazing time talking to you about our wonderful Southern Utah desert and Zion backcountry. We love that even in this environment there are so many resourceful ways that the desert can take care of you and help you "survive" if needed. Five family members here for a family reunion (California, Colorado and Oregon). We arrived early and Joel was waiting for us. He gave us a rundown of what we could expect, had us complete the waivers, and then off we went. Joel was fantastic, easy to talk to, very informative, polite, courteous and very safety conscious. He surveyed the terrain before we ventured out away from the Jeep. At no time did we feel apprehensive, Joel made us feel very comfortable. He took us to some beautiful, mind blowing sights. We were extremely happy with Zion Country Off Road tours. Joel is an exceptional tour guide , an asset to Zion Tours.

I booked this based on the great trip advisor reviews. We took a jeep on a dirt road up to a trailhead and then basically on a bike trail to a lookout. It was really cold int he jeep and we were not told to bring heavy jackets. Our guide spent most of the time talking about herself and not our surroundings. She would stop to look for rocks/petrified wood but not let anyone else out to look. I thought it was expensive for what you got (and mandatory $25 cash tip per person). Next time would do something else instead.

Unfortunately, we cannot control mother nature and as an adult I’m sure you are fully capable of looking at weather reports and dressing accordingly. It was in the low 60’s out on tour and of course as the sun goes down so do the temperatures. Our tour is absolutely the best Jeep tour in this entire area and we stand behind not only our tour, but the guides that take you! You were with two other groups in the Jeep and they all had a great time so you were the odd man out here. As for your thought on the tour being expensive - - you get what you pay for and with the high quality tour we provide we are affordable to those who know a value when they see one - - we don’t leave our tour guides paycheck up for chance as they work 6-hours to provide you with a 3-hour tour and if $25 per person is too much to thank them for their service to you then you should’ve gone with a subpar tour company and saw where that got you!

We did the single ATV tour. What an awesome experience and the best service from guide. He was absolutely amazing, very informative, was always ensuring our safety, and making sure we saw everything to enjoy the ride. Great job!!!!!!

Awesome Jeep tour of Zion

Our guide went above and beyond what was expected in providing us the greatest experience of our vacation trip to Utah and Arizona. I lost my wallet and our guide went back with me to trace our steps . We found it 2 hrs later. Above and beyond!

My friend Maggie and I had a tour last week on Friday. It was easily one of the most exciting, educational tours we’ve ever done! I have already recommended it to a lot of co-workers, friends and family. Joel was an absolutely amazing tour guide, words don’t exactly describe his style and how much he cared about our safety and comfort. Not only did he willingly switch bikes with me when I felt a little uneasy, he also checked in on us at every tour stop to make sure both of us were okay (even if we were just a tad our of comfort zone). Joel taught us so many neat things about Southern Utah, we had no idea about the rich history. He took great care of us and a great picture of us overlooking the canyon. We really didn’t know what to expect with this tour, but he really exceeded every single part. Neither of us ever felt unsafe or uncomfortable, even with the parts that rode a little close to the edges. We’re looking forward to the next time we’re in Southern Utah because we already know we’re going to book him again!

Great backcountry tour

This tour does not go into Zion but you see it and a lot more from a different perspective. I suggest combining this tour with then getting lunch in Springdale and then take the free shuttle to Zion. There you pay the park entry fee or use a pass (such as the senior national park pass we had which covers 4 people. The free shuttle from there takes you to the stops in the park for hikes or sightseeing. But if you want to hike Rainbow in Zion, that is a full day experience. Our guide, Josh, was great! Terrific knowledge and service. It’s a bumpy ride but fun and not risky. Josh was like a mid 20s Indiana Jones with so much knowledge of the local nature and ecology.

I booked this jeep offroading adventure for my family of 4 including wife, 15 and 11 year old. It was a private tour on BLM land and Murphy was a great tour guide and very easy to interact with. The overlook from Gooseberry Mesa was incredible. There was a cold front that week in Utah and luckily we dressed warm and Mexican blankets he gave us helped a lot. make sure you dress based on forecast to maximize enjoyment on this open air Jeep. Highly recommend this tour.

Dave was awesome, me and my friend had the best time on this tour and would
10000% recommend doing this ATV tour. The views were amazing and the tour was so fun and not rushed. Loved Dave and his facts. I would definitely come see him again if I was in town. You rock dave!!!
