Hello
My husband, our 12 years old daughter and I would like to plan a day tour at Yesemite on the 2nd of April. Would you recommend snowshoe tour or hike?
Many thanks
Stefania

Hello Stefania,
Thank you so much for your inquiry. It is a great question. If you would like a beginner or moderate tour, I would suggest the hike. Although snow may fall in Yosemite in any month, there typically is not enough snow for a beginner snowshoe tour by early April. An Extended Snowshoe hike would definitely be possible, but it is a bit more challenging and will be about 7 miles long. If you choose this trip, we can hike as an alternative if there is not enough snow. By early April, the Yosemite waterfalls will be booming so that would also be a factor since our guided hikes will be centered around the waterfalls at this time. Whatever you choose, we will be happy to customize a tour for your family. Please call us at 209 532 7014 and we will plan a trip for you.
Thank you, John
