My husband and I went on a 4-day guided "inn-based" trip with Wildland Trekking - the 'Yosemite Autocamp Summer Tour' and had a wonderful experience. We followed Wildland's recommendations on training for the trip so we were ready for the amount of hiking required. Each of the 4 days included a very different hike from the other days - one day waterfalls, one day North dome, one day alpine lakes, one day giant Sequoia trees. Each night we returned to the Autocamp to sleep in the comfort of our own individual Airstream trailer. Our guides Joe and Rafi did a great job of explaining the history of Yosemite (and central California in general), birds, flowers, rocks, trees, bushes, etc as we went along. They also prepared delicious meals which we all enjoyed - food eaten outside always tastes better! We returned home with a new appreciation for the beautiful Yosemite valley and the Sierra Nevada mountains!

Wow! I did the 4 day Glacier Point Trek In Yosemite ( backpacking) and it was THE best experience. it was my first backpacking trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better company + the guide Carm was excellent, knowledgeable, patient and caring. Not only did the company secure our permits but also supplied top of the line gear and gourmet meals the entire time. this trip specifically had the best views in Yosemite and we saw it all. this trip didn’t lack anything! thank you for a memorable trip!

We went on a portered 4 day back country trip with Carm as our trip leader and lucked into having Angelique as well! Fantastic meals, challenging hiking, and overall unforgettable trip! This group sends out tons of great info prior to the trip on what to pack, how to prepare, etc. My highest praise for the company and guides!!

This summer I went on the Olympic & Rainier tour. I have been on many trips with Wildland and this one did not disappoint! Unfortunately, our first day hiking was during the heat wave but, our guide, Noah, helped to make the best of hiking in the heat. The accommodations at each location were unique and had amazing views. Each of the hikes was different and what an experience it was hiking up Rainier in the snow! Noah was a very knowledgeable guide and made some delicious trail lunches. He did have to change the itinerary a bit towards the end of the trip since trails had closed since he had scouted them the week before. My only critique would be to save the hike up Rainier for the last day as any hike afterwards would pale in comparison to those views!
