We picked this hike because we were staying in the area and thought it would be good for our 6 and 8 year old. It is a nice easy loop that is mostly flat and shaded, but is also a horse trail. There was poop...More

Was nice to see the area, but with the other extraordinary parts of Yosemite the meadow just didn't do much for us.

This is a 3.5 mile loop trail essentially flat hike up through the forest with multiple streamlets crossing the path. At times a bit close to Highway 41 but mostly deep enough to be quiet. Lots of birds, and in spring some nice baby blue...More

There are no exciting views. It's a nice few hours through the woods overlooking first the golf course and then the meadow. We saw no wildlife in the middle of the day. Good trail, lots of shade for the warmth in August.

This is a great little walk for those looking for something mild and interesting. It's an easy walk and it would make a great trail fur a morning jog. Bring water.

A pleasant walk of about 2 hours. 8-10 interpretive signs display nature and history facts. And the wildflowers in June were abundant!
