This is the most famous view point of all Yosemite valley and for a good reason, it’s simply spectacular (glacial valley in it’s full glory), provided weather is good. Parking space is often not enough for all wishing to stop by. Quite nice sunset point...More

This is one of the most trafficked areas in the park. There is a trail across from the parking lot that had few hikers and offered even better views. Get out of the parking lot and take a hike to get the most out of...More

Yes the view is fantastic if you like canyons but the incredible amount of people make for an unpleasant experience. If you are lucky there are just a few people but most of the time when I passed this point it was crowded beyond even...More

What a view! A must stop makes it very crowded. Drive carefully and take lots of pictures. Parking can be a problem.

Some of the best views of the valley but parking is limited. From here it's quite easy to hike to Artist point (same views but better) or Inspiration point.

The best time to see the view here is late afternoon and evening so you are not looking into the sun. The parking is limited and people are driving/backing up without looking quite a bit so be aware. We have seen people having wedding photos...More

Come out of that Tunnel and the view that awaits is unreal. Parked at the areas right outside the tunnel and just stood in awe of this view. Yeah there are plenty of pics of this view online but to actually stand there in the...More

We stopped here twice while visiting Yosemite. One can see El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and the whole Yosemite Valley from this vantage point!

Get up before dawn and claim your spot to watch the sunrise over El Cap. Half Dome, Bridal Veil Falls, and Yosemite Valley. Soul restoring.

We were told the spring is the best time, all of the falls exceeded my expectations , we chose to stay on hikes around the valley floor, very easy to get from place to place on free bus
