Easy walking path around the sequoias with parking surrounding the area. Restroom facilities are also available. These are the biggest trees in this part of CA

This area of the park is closer to the Mariposa Gate. So if you're coming from the village, it's about an hour drive south on Hwy 41. Check the weather conditions because they sometimes require chains in this area or they may even close it....More

We hiked this trail on our last day at Yosemite. Normally we would have loved this except we had been doing some amazing hikes to some BIG A_S water falls and so giant trees just don't elicit the same response. Nothing can compare with those...More

This is worth a stop when in the Yosemite area. Some good easy hiking and some legitimately large Giant Sequoias. Nice for the whole family, and a variety of trail lengths to suite your needs and fitness level. This place is no Sequoia National Park,...More

A must to go place. These sequoias will leave you without breath. I've been here just 2 days ago and I would like to go back. This place is full of stories and silence and you will for sure enjoy you 2-3 miles walk

We came late in the day and had to circle the parking lot several times to find a spot, but we were glad we did. This was our first walk among the majestic sequoias- wow, they are so tall and so beautiful!

A wonderful walk, the trees are incredible and so large that I felt like a hobbit on an adventure. The tranquil atmosphere was so relaxing that even a city dweller like me was briefly turned into a happy tree hugger.

One of our boys had 6th Grade camp 2 miles from here. So, after we picked him up, we went to look at them. Beautiful.

As we pulled into the parking lot and came face to face with the giants, all I could say was “wow, wow, wow”. You just can't explain to someone how massive these trees are. Even a photo with a person standing in front to give...More
