An obvious stop point when driving Tioga Road, with nice views just a stone’s throw from the car park. There is a distant view of Half Dome but it’s nice just to sit atop the smooth rocks and enjoy the view for a while.
OK, this was a find I wasn't familar with, not on my short-list of things to do/see while staying in Yosemite, especially in the Valley. This is a bit of a drive, but what a drive!
