The Glacier Point Road from Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (Badger Pass) is closed in the winter and the only way out to Glacier Point is to ski, snowshoe or hike. The road is groomed by a snow machine several times during the week for skiers. We ask that hikers ans snowshoes stay on the extreme edges of the groomed... More

We arrived 4 days before the resort shut for the season. We spent two hours snow-tubing, and hire snow shoes for a hike. The area is so beautiful under snow - well worth the $120 we spent on the activity.

When there is snow, this place is great for the beginner. Not a lot of options for food and entertainment if you are there for something other than snow play. I am a repeat visitor to this area & never get bored.

Nice place to take the family. Great for beginners of downhill and cross country, snow shoeing, telemark skiing as well.

Badger pass is great if your looking for a nice day without lines. It's the first place I learned to ski. It's so good for beginners. Sometimes it's just nice to get away and not have crowds. The staff was friendly. Especially the ski lift crew!!!

I have been to Badger pass many years ago to ski. As I am a senior now I love to snowshoe. I was so disappointed in the ranger leading the free snow shoe event. They did provide snow shoes with out poles. We had our own shoes with poles. You need poles! When I called the hut I was told... More

A lovely 45 minute drive from the valley brought us up to the snow. We rented snowshoes (about $25) and headed out on the summit path. We had never tried it before, but the entire family enjoyed it. The weather was great (in March), so we were able to go even though we really didn't have proper snow gear. (just... More

If you're coming in here to hardcore ski/snowboard, don't bother. However, this place is great for beginners or for people who just want to play in the snow. I initially rented a pair of snowshoes, but after trying em on for ten mins decided I wanted something a little more hm..fun, so I went back to see if I could... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time skiing here. We had a great deal with free ski tickets including with our lodging at Yosemite Lodge. Though we didn't take it, there's even a free shuttle up to the ski area. We skied on a picture-perfect day with not a cloud in the sky. It was mid-week, so very... More

I hate to say anything unless its good but.....everything was old and not very exciting. Not much there and felt the food area was hugely lacking, and small, no where to sit. If you are there only for the kids to ski, its ok, and prices were ok as well. They should do a lot more there as it is... More
