One of two iconic sights associated with Yosemite. A must see in the Yosemite valley.

You can actually see people climbing this rock! They might be little specks but it you take binoculars you can see so much more. Very fascinating and you can spend ages just watching! Awesome place!

El Capitan is such an amazing monolith. It dominates the valley entrance and is beautiful in any light.

This has got to be the best location for a rock. Middle of everything. You know you are approaching it when traffic starts stalling. Amazing meadow to bring a picnic blanket and watch the climbers make their trek. Must bring binoculars to get up close...More

This symbol of the park is breathtaking. We sent 4 days hiking around the park and always made up our business to get another glimpse of El Capitan.

Take a hike to Vernal Fall, not too strenuous, worth the effort!
