We just stayed at Echo Co-op’s Adventure Loft for three nights over Labor Day weekend. The space was welcoming and thoughtfully curated. We appreciated the considerate touches such as almond bubble bath for the soaking tub, a Doterra oil diffuser to help with relaxation, and a yummy included breakfast of fruit, granola, and juice. We have family in Groveland and travel there often. We will be making the loft our regular stay and can’t wait for the next trip.

My ten year old son and I went on a full day fly fishing guided trip with Bryant. First, Echo was very accommodating about covid concerns and while people are often divided over this topic, Elizabeth and Bryant made us feel comfortable. My son and I are both fishaholics. We let Bryant know that when choosing a location to fish. Bryant recommended an alpine lake that required a hike in. As we are sworn to secrecy I won’t reveal the exact name or location, but I can tell you that the hike in was between 1.5 and 3 miles each way. That said, it wasn’t too bad of a hike as anytime you offer my 10 year old fishing as a reward he will hike with no complaints. We were rewarded w an amazingly beautiful alpine lake, essentially to ourselves. And the fishing was amazing. My son has fished a lot but this was only his second flyfishing trip. I’ve flyfished several times but not an advanced fly caster at all. Together, we caught and released maybe 50 fish all dryfly fishing. By the end of the day, my son was casting (standard cast AND roll casting), hook setting, and bringing his fish in all by himself! Bryant is a great instructor. He’s patient and knows the ins and outs of fly casting. He also regularly changed up our flies during the trip which improved our catch each time. He took go pro footage of us which I really appreciate. This allowed me to fish… and totally relax. I’ve fished a ton around the world. I’ve fished w many, many guides. Bryant is in the elite among the guides with whom I’ve fished. But fishing for me now is different w kids and what I want for me isn’t necessarily what I want for my son. Bryant hits that difficult balance where dad’s hopes for an amazing fishing day can be fulfilled while son gets great instruction while having time of his life simultaneously. Also, do yourself a favor and elect to hike in if you’re physically fit. You’ll find way more fish in a more secluded environment. Fishing this lake with essentially no one around is every fisherman’s dream.

Fantastic full-day hike with Jamie! Easy/moderate 4-5 hours in which we hit a bunch of spectacular viewpoints -- the "greatest hits" of the park: Yosemite Falls, Nevada Falls, El Cap, Roosevelt, Taft, Half Dome. We are a fairly fit family of 5, and really enjoyed this long-ish hike WITHOUT the big trudge up from the valley. Ended the day with a quick dip in the river right in front of El Cap... with a perfect view of the Free Solo route. Jamie is fun, informative, a perfect guide. Easy to talk to, very knowledgeable about, well, everything. We had decided to go to Yosemite before we really planned it out. It's overwhelming trying to figure out where to go, how to avoid the crowds, see the stuff we wanted to see. This day was exactly what we needed -- and Jamie gave us good advice for where else to go on other days. Highly recommend! Thank You Jamie!

Echo Adventures met all of our expectations for exploring Yosemite. We had Jamie as our guide, and he was amazing to get along with and very knowledgeable of the area and Yosemite. He pivoted his plans based on our needs and went above and beyond to understand our family's interests and tailored our explorations to fit. Jamie was also amazing with our 11-year son and took the extra time to answer his questions, hiked at his (our) pace, and always ensured we took time to stop and take in everything around us. I highly recommend Echo Adventures if you want to capture the true sites of Yosemite, without the hassle of trying to self-plan everything.

There was a group of six of us from the Atlanta/Charlotte area that hiked with Echo for three days and we all had a fantastic time with Echo Coop Adventures. We had our own private guides for three days and we hiked Yosemite Valley, the Sequoias, and Hatch Hatchy areas. Our dreams came true with Echo with superb hiking and informative and caring guides and one of the owners was one of the hiking guides. Nat, Jamie, and Zach were fantastic and knowledgeable guides who cared about us and our safety and took us on the hikes and sightseeing adventures at a nice and moderate pace. Thank you Elisabeth and all for being patient with us and welcoming us with open arms after we had to postpone our Yosemite dream for almost a year due to the wildfires and pandemic. The owners Elisabeth, Jamie and Bryan really care about their clients like us and I will only use Echo when I hopefully return for some more hiking in Yosemite. Hope to visit you all again and wish you continued happiness and success in your endeavors at Echo and in life. Thanks for making my dreams come true at Yosemite. The world needs more caring and kind people like all of you, thank you.
