I loved the horse rides because we went all through the forest, and me and my mom we got to see all kinds of things and learn new things. ;);)

We booked a two hour ride here. We stayed at Yosemite Valley lodge and the drive was about an hour away from there, but still within the park itself. The horses are well-cared for and the staff here are friendly. We are fairly confident riders, but you don't need to be to take part on one of these rides. The... More

We took a pleasant ride through the Wawona-area trail. The guides were very nice but difficult to hear and did not have much meaningful Yosemite trivia to share. Somewhat pricey but a pleasant break from hiking.

We rode horses here. At least I think it was here! They had just started giving rides a month ago. Our guide was named Ace, from Arizona, and was totally friendly and interesting. The horses were nice, too.

Loved this adventure in rustic beauty. The ride had panoramic vistas - at times somewhat steep mountain climbs - and very well behaved horses. The High Sierra Camp was adequately equipped with warm blankets - and a delicious dinner. I would definetely return in the future. The route we took began in Glen Aulin - stooping at May Lake.

Mules just plodded along which is fine for complete beginners, as a more experienced rider the route was only interesting because of the climbing up and down steep gradients. I wouldn't recommend for competent riders because it was just a LONG walk with not really much scenery to see (I went to the 'lake'- but it was dried up) Price... More

Wife & myself, really enjoyed our recent visit to Yosemite National Park, and it included a 4 hour ride out around the trails. And yes we will be back, but a big but, and wanted to share, that the attraction in it current format of 2 hour, 4 hour rides, is ending, due the votes tendered by members of Yosemite... More

Enjoyed a different perspective on things.. The height and a little more freedom of looking around were great. Horses kicked up a lot of dust though and I was sneezing like mad. Quite unchallenging from a riding perspective so if your a keen rider this probs not for you. It's just nose to tail stuff. But still a bit of... More

After we had so much fun on this great ride thru Yosemite we found out that due to some political nonsense horseback riding will no longer be at the park. What a shame. This is the only way some people can see the back country since they cant hike. Aramark hear this you are doing a great injustice canceling this... More
