This is my second trip with Wildland, the first being a 3 day backpacking trip in Sedona, AZ. Both times were terrific experiences. The guides were knowledgeable and very personable, and made sure that all of us in the groups had a great time. To see the sites of Yellowstone with a local guide, in my opinion, was the best way to do it. Adding in the fact that it was not just driving around in a car - we were able to hike and see the sites on the "roads less traveled" by virtue of the trail systems. Not only were the views spectacular, but the food was as well. Our guide made the meals fresh at each site. Wildland was also incredibly supportive of my being a solo traveler which was very important to me. I will continue to recommend Wildland to anyone looking for a backpacking trip or a sightseeing trip, and will definitely be booking future trips with Wildland.

We have a fabulous time with Adriana who took us on a hike of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The tour started when she spotted a HUGE bull elk on the side of the road and stopped to point it out - and it ended with her pointing out the rainbow between the trees (see pictures). She was patient (we aren't savvy hikers) and so knowledgeable. She showed us fabulous sights that I know we never would have seen without doing this tour. She made us a fabulous lunch ~ and she noted on the paperwork that my birthday was that week and made us little bday cakes to celebrate! Thank you Adriana! You won't be disappointed with this tour!!

A wonderful trip to the northwest corner of Yellowstone. The wildlife and views were stunning (moose, sandhill cranes, a grizzly and her cub), and our guide, Jennie, thought of everything to make the trip special. Hiking with llamas was great. They're cute and funny, they love getting treats and attention - and, of course, they allow you to carry less weight. This was our second trip with Wildland Trekking, and we highly recommend them!

My wife and I took the full day Lamar Valley hike and were just blown away. Carlos, our guide, was great!!!!!! Our safety was first on the list as our hike took us into the back country. We are not experienced hikers by any means but we felt safe with Carlos. He was very knowledgeable about many different things and made the hike even more enjoyable. Eric was new to this company and was shadowing Carlos and only added to the great experience we had. Saw Lamar Valley in a way you could not from just the road in Yellowstone and it was fantastic. The lunch provided was great as well!!!!!
