Great hike into the forest and along the canyon walls. Take the trail to the Lily Pad Lake - peaceful and less crowded.

This was a mid morning walk and it is quite strenuous in parts and reasonably dangerous In parts the various view of the falls the cliffs and colours are outstanding. Tip. Make sure you have plenty of mosquito spray as I've never experienced such hordes...More

At the end of South Rim Trail lies Artist Point, a great lookout for the canyon and the waterfall. Must-go.

The view was well worth the walk. Make sure you have your camera. The view of the falls with a rainbow over it was magical.

Yellowstone is full of natural wonders and beauty, a must see in your travels the entire park is amazing lived up their for a year and went into the park everyday, never a disappointing day.

Most of the park closes. The only part that stays open is for skiing. Check with park for extra details.
