The view from Uncle Tom’s Point of the Upper Falls is a short walk from the parking lot and is absolutely worth a stop. The view’s not as spectacular as that from Artist’s Point but it’s not bad. If you’re a photographer go early or during the day before the sun starts to drop.

The Upper Falls are about 110 feet high and mark the area where the Yellowstone River leaves the Hayden Valley, on its way into the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Make the short drive to the Brink of the Upper Falls where you will find three more great areas where you can view the river as it flows over the falls.…

Go early and take time to see the iconic falls. This is a must see in Yellowstone. It is in the canyon area and go early.

This was a nice hike to see the falls froma different perspective - up close and loud. Be prepared for some stairs and trail back up and out. Definitely worth the time.
