Here the river is in its own private sort of canyon. You can stop along the way in one or two places and get a good look. Not spectacular but pretty.

Just to let you know, the drive is still closed to cars the third week in May when we passed by. We understand from a good friend that this is another for the must-see list.

There are two areas to swim in the park and the winding road and climb down to cool off is fun and well worth it. Lots of folks so people watching at it's finest.

you must take a snow coach tour or snowmobile to get here in the winter; but there are no crowds and the view is stunning!

This is a little detour off the main road. It's one way and will take you right back to Grand Loop Road. If you have the time, take the 20 minutes it takes to drive this.

I called and they said due to the water levels n how fast the water was . That's great the fixed it up while it was closed.
