Not sure why this pool gets its own entry as there are other more beautiful pools like the Morning Glory Pool in the Upper Geyser Basin or the Grand Prismatic Spring in the Midway Geyser Basin. The pool is quite impressive looking with clear blue...More

it's a big blue pool, with the color of the outer area is lighter blue than the inner one, the water is clear, the pool looks beautiful, and has some mist on top of it, it's located in the Biscuit basin, easily accessible.

There are some awesome springs to see in the Biscuit Basin. This was one of our favorites in the entire park. Maybe even 2nd to the Grand Prismatic. The boardwalk hike is short and easy and the colors you will see are memorable. I believe...More

This is a gorgeous spring. The color is spectacular, an photos don’t do it justice. We went back a second time to see it while we were at the park.

A camera picture will not show you the blue that you will see in person when you visit this pool! My son and I hiked the trails and were blessed to see this beauty together!

Sapphire Pool is a hot spring in Biscuit Basin. It has a beautiful blue colour and crystal clear water at 200 deg F/93 deg C. It's not as crowded as the Grand Prismatic Spring.

This along with Morning Glory are my favorite pools/hot springs in Yellowstone. The colors in both are so intense. It is one of those must see pools in Yellowstone!

There are so many pools that they can eventually get kind of boring so pick the best ones. Theis is one of the best areas and the pools look so inviting... kind of like Sid the sloth and his dreams... you just want to go...More
