Found great wineries with spectacular views! Wish there was more opportunities for places to eat in the off season. Found many other visitors trying to find a cafe or bistro open for lunch as well. Published materials and maps were helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Unfortunately, you're completely right about the lack of food options in the off-season. Hopefully you'll come back again during the summer for a chance to try our wondering offerings! More

we like visiting both sides of the lake...always a thrill to end up at Ithaca(many things to do there)..can't say we have a most favorite winery along the lake; there are many; and many are small, almost nondescript...but hey, for $5 or less for tastings, it is fun to try the small mom and pop ,, newbies along the way...great... This was our first time at Cayuga lake. We've been to a couple of events at Seneca lake, though, and overall I can say I prefer Seneca to Cayuga, though we did enjoy ourselves on this holiday trail event. The Cayuga Wine Trail office also offers packages to their events that include hotels and transportation and that is a very... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review! The couple's ticket is only 1 ticket for 2 people, so perhaps a blank one got stuck to the stamped ticket when it was mailed out. The event weekends can get a bit hectic for everyone. Hopefully you'll come back when we don't have an event and give us another... More

We participated in the Shopping Spree weekend at Cayuga Lake. 4 wineries participated on Friday - they were on the east side of the lake and at the farthest north and south points. The others were clustered on the west side of the lake. I didn't pay too much attention to the cost of the tastings, as we paid a... More

This was our first trip to the Finger Lakes and had a wonderful, relaxing 4 days. We stayed at Barrister's Bed and Breakfast and the innkeepers truly made our stay memorable. Their knowledge of the area led great insight as to our wine trail experience. It was an affordable trip and some wineries even have lite lunch/snacks available. Be sure... More

Organizers and wineries on this wine trail opportunity are to be commended for excellant signage along Rt 89. There are a plethora of wine stop opportunities - more than we could take in and still drive home! Two of the wineries had special fall festivities - pumpkin chunkin, and chestnut festival. Though it was a rainy day, the trail along... More

I can't say enough about this area. If you have not tried wines from this area you are missing out. The owners and workers at the wineries are the nicest people. We love to go to this area for the wine, food and the beautiful area. Take the trip you won't be disappointed.

Started at Montezuma and worked our way along the lake down to Ithaca. This first stop was the best. Most friendly of all the places we visited on the trail without the attitude you often get when visiting some tasting rooms. Some beautiful views along the way but many of the waterfalls are short on the water.

Best for leisurely traveling: do not miss Tiffany decorated church in town of Auburn, local B&Bs, places connected to suffragette movement and many more. Enjoy going down to Ithaca, sampling local wines at multiple wineries along the beautiful road. Do not forget creameries with home made ice cream. Allow some time for visiting parks with dramatic waterfalls, windy trails and... More
