A mini-Birchmere where they give you free water!

I love JJ, it's my latest go-to venue for terrifically talented singer/songwriters. Parking, easy. Food, tasty and many good veggie options. Seating is all good, most shows are... read more

The place is a cool concept. Jams (music) and basically snack/pub food with a bar. The floors are bare and the entire place is overdue for a scrub and fresh paint. It's obviously popular 'as is' with the crowd that goes regular, but it's not for me and I would not recommend it to most people just because it has... More

I love JJ, it's my latest go-to venue for terrifically talented singer/songwriters. Parking, easy. Food, tasty and many good veggie options. Seating is all good, most shows are $15.00 but unlike The Birchmere, you have an option of reserving a seat or seats at a table. The wait/bar staff is friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms are clean. My favorite... More

Great entertainment in this intimate music venue/coffee, food and bar. Definitely worth looking into their calendar of events if you're looking for some entertainment in this area.

Jammin Java is a wonderful club for discovering new music. The venue is comfortable, the music good (and excellently priced), and the food and drinks make it just right for a nice evening out.

Nice venue for children's shows. However, they charge admission for everything with a heart beat, including babies carried in arms. A bit over the top in my opinion and has had me thing twice about bringing my older daughter to a show knowing that I would have the pay for the baby in my arms too.

We saw Shaun Mullins recently at Jammin Java. My first time there, my wife's second time. The place has an unusual vibe about it - small club meets hipster coffee shop. Decent beer on tap and an awesome s'mores dessert. The place has great sound and it was a great night for music. My only complaint was it took 30... More

We went to see Leyla McCalla - SUPER musician, everyone should know about her! Jammin Java is always a good place to hear music - the crowd is respectful, the music is the focus and the prices are much better than at some of the larger, older venues ... and the food is decent. I had pork chili which was... More

Saw and acoustic artist and really enjoyed the reserved seating with reasonable prices without having to purchase and entire table worth of seats. Food and beverage selection is outstanding although parking can be difficult to find.

We traveled to VA following the east coast tour of our favorite entertainers, Carrie Rodriguez and Luke Jacobs. This was the third performance of theirs we saw that weekend. The show was fantastic, the venue was OK. They crowded the front tables so much it was hard not to touch your neighbor, and it made it almost impossible to get... More
