Great National Park and a fun place to enjoy a concert!

Wolf Trap is the perfect venue for a concert! It's not too big and the lawn seats are a perfect place for a picnic -- you can bring your own food!

they feature artists of nearly every perform skill - there are no "bad" seats in the house or on the lawn for that matter

I've seen many concerts here over many years, both outdoors and in, and most recently earlier this month in The Barns. Great atmosphere, good acoustics, easily accessible, and the employees are friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

What a gem to have a park dedicated to the performing arts! There's not much point in visiting unless a performance is occurring, but when one is you should make the time. Many events are free, just browse the calendar for something that suits you. It's an amphitheater setting so some times of the year are more enjoyable than others.

We visited this in the off season , but after meeting one of the Rangers,John, and getting a tour by our relatives, one can tell this place is a true gem for a concert... looking at the 2016 performance schedule, this place has some real gem performances... we will be back to attend one...

I volunteered 25-years at Wolf Trap Farm Park for the Performing Arts. The venue is arguably the best outdoor venue in the USA! The acoustics are stupendous, the staff is welcoming, the seating is comfortable and the talent booked is incredible. I guarantee you will have a great time enjoying your lawn picnic while taking in the sights/sounds of a... More

It really hard to write anything new about Wolf Trap because it's been review so many times before. The main theater is open from around Memorial Day until Labor Day. A second property, The Barns at Wolf Trap, is down the road and hosts smaller events year round. At the main pavilion you can either sit inside (covered roof, open... More

Whether taking a picnic meal or eating on site, this is a not to be missed treasure in Northern Virginia. Wide range of visiting performers. Wonderful facility. Well organized. Really not a bad seat in the house or on the lawn.

I'm not much on concerts, but the National Park System's Wolf Trap Facility makes going to concerts fun. You can sit out on the lawn, or pay more and sit in the open air arena. On one occasion I treated my guests to box seats and the up front parking. Amazing experience. Getting in and getting out of Wolf Trap... More

Went to see a National Symphony concert and this time sat on the lawn with friends and a picnic basket, it was so much fun!
