I know that sour beers do not fit everyone's taste, but it's worth a visit. I have been able to get certain flavor beers that they brew and sell at local liquor stores near me, but not even a 10th of what they put out there. So we decided to take a road trip to St Patrick's church basement where Urban Artifacts Brewery tap room is located in Cincinnati. Just a quick tip, avoid going through the front entrance if you can because they have a side street entrance that is street level and much easier to enter the tap room. Now, this beer is not inexpensive but is awesome if you like sour beers. Got there on a Saturday at about 2:00 pm and it was about 25% full with people. We tried two flights of different beers, which were all good but some better than others. I am sure the fruit they use is expensive, and it tastes like they use a lot.
Check it out. They even have confessionals in the tap room. There is even another brewery across the street and a lot of restaurants nearby. I ended up hauling a bunch of the beers I can't get in central northern Indiana. They do ship their beers to certain states but not indiana. Enjoy!

Great space to enjoy a local craft beer! They are known for their sour beers. They also have a small menu offering wine. Great outdoor space to enjoy your drink with small fire pits. Although the place was not packed, it still took a while to get the bartender's attention. Only reason why I did not give them an excellent rating.

Urban Artifact offers a number of outstanding fruit and sour beers, both on tap and in cans to carry home. All of the house beers were excellent. They also have a selection of seltzers if you're into those, which I'm not, so your mileage may vary there. Service was fast, friendly, and knowledgable. A must for beer lovers.

This is a fruit beer / sours microbrewery that specializes and does it at the top tier. If looking for other style then this is not the place. They do have 1 guest tap lager. Cool church setup with seating inside and park like outside seating with shade and breeze at times. Staff was very informative and friendly. No flights available but can get samples. If fruit beer fan or want to explore that style come here. The range in flavor, style and heavyness as in some being wine like but beer. Food truck to meet snack or hunger needs. A great stop and will go again. Just go and try them as the variety and flavor is impressive.

Horrible entrance ramp for handicapped. Very unsafe, question legality. Only grandchilds marriage, had to be there.
Had to have large men carry practically me up in wheelchair and going out very dangerous and scary. She was
told at booking there would be an elevator by recception time.

My husband and I stopped in here while visiting the area for the weekend. We were very happy with the selection and quality of the beers. It was a quieter day since it was a Friday afternoon. The space is interesting being in a church although the bar area is in the basement/first level so it doesn't seem too weird. Definitely a great stop for anyone who enjoys sours!

Met family after an event and was pleasantly surprised at the sours they had. Nothing outlandish, but good, with some twists. In the basement of an old church building.
Hungry? At the bar you can order a pizza from Wildfire Pizza next door.

I have been wanting to visit here for a while and I have to say I was pretty disappointed as far as a brewery experience. The beers when we went were so so, I live sours and they cater to that but they just weren’t some of their best when we went. Service was super friendly and fast. The flight board designs are horrible, the flights can easily slide out as there is nothing to stop them. I was so excited to see a brewery in an old church but it just didn’t feel big or grand on the inside.
I will still continue to buy their beers but wouldn’t go back to their brewery. It was also very crowded and not much space to sprawl out like there is at other breweries .

I'm a bit conflicted about how to rate this place. It's got a cool vibe and interesting location in the basement of an old church. But it's way off the beaten path and is almost exclusively sours, which are not my thing.
Objectively, the beers were well-produced. Tart and bursting with flavor. Very fruity, but reminded me of a mimosa. Is there such thing as a breakfast beer?
If they had a larger selection of styles I definitely be back. If sours are your thing, you'll love the place.

We really like this place and feel like I had a great vibe. It had a lot of fruity and sour beers And some good ciders. There was a Christmas market when we were here and It have some really great vendors and food trucks. It was really nice and not horribly far from downtown. We just got an Uber over there in a few minutes. If you’re looking for a cool place to hang out have some beers we would recommend Urban Artifact. It will be a go to if were in town.

how ACCESSIBLE IS THE CHURCH WEDDING site for getting wheelchairs or mobility scooters into.

The taproom at the lower level is fully wheelchair accessible, including restrooms. We recommend parking on Turrill St and using the entrance on the east side.
The upstairs event space is unfortunately only accessible via historic staircases.
