About
Every Farmhouse has a story. Ours is a little different. It began in the storm cellar of a home built in 1924 where a stainless steel kettle and a family's dedication formed the cornerstone of Mt. Carmel Brewing Company. Established in 2005, Mt. Carmel reestablished Cincinnati's brewing frontier. Today, our extended family of brewers and neighbors continues to push it forward.

This brewery is fantastic, 20 beers on tap, wine and liquor as well. Setting is great with great indoor atmosphere as well as awesome seating outdoors around the lake.
The food is incredible. Dave the Chef is a phenomenal chef and his Pteradacyl wings are some of the best I have ever had. My wife had the fish tacos and could not stop talking about them. This place has become a weekly stop for us.

We were here a few years ago before they built their new larger eating and tasting area. We made a return visit this weekend. Their spacious dining and bar area turned out very nice. They are practicing proper social distancing. The draft beer choices are adequate and the quality is really good. We did not eat but others there were eating. There is an outdoor area. If you love craft beer and good food then this is a must do.

Stopped in after a soccer game with several other parents. The facilities are nice and look newer. It was nice, so sat outside. The inside is large and spacious and even has a 2nd floor. The outside is very nice, some is covered and they are adding what appears to be several layers of a paver patio all the way to the pond. This will be a great area to hang out when completed. Tried a sampler and went back and ordered a coconut porter/stout. Very good. Table ordered several things from menu. Would describe food as craft and unique. I had a burger with chips and daughter had a grilled cheese. Everything was great!

We had been to Mt. Carmel Brewing for a fundraiser upstairs previously and really enjoyed the experience. The food was pretty good and the bartenders were friendly. We decided to return for a regular dinner and were quite disappointed. The atmosphere is really neat. The evening we went, there were quite a few people outside but the tables inside were empty. We ordered our drinks and food at the bar per instruction. We were excited to try some different things but not excited enough to make the 80+ minute wait for our food worthwhile. The kitchen appears to be too small. They have a sizeable dining room inside plus a large outdoor seating area. The food was good but it just wasn't worth our wait.

This is our neighborhood place to go and has been an awesome place for great food and great selection of beer. Well, it was!!! Not sure what's going on there but the service has been horrible and the wait time on food ridiculous!! Unless things change for the better we will not be back any time soon!!
On two separate occasions we brought in friends who had never been there and we were quite embarrassed because we had talked the place up. Hope you guys get it together soon!!

Unfortunately for this brewery the food is great and the beer is mediocre at best. The saddest part is the temperature of beer out of tap. After going to a few other places, it’s determined they have the warmest beer in town.

Met friends here on a friday night. Place has a neat story so it was worth a try. Didn't care for any of the beers, food was dissapointing and took over an hour to get. The place is neat and well done and might be OK to hang out there but wasn't a food or eats destination. We were disapointed.

So glad we finally went. Amazing updates so atmosphere rocked. Visually very appealing very spacious layout. Food was very good as were the ‘beverages’ . We socialized in doors but can’t wait till we utilize the outdoors as those updates were amazing too. Only thing that kept it from being a 5 is it was loud due to the layout but they can install dampers in the future and parking was a nightmare, not sure how they fix that. We will go back in spite of those 2 issues.

An evening visit for a couple beers before our evening, enjoyed the comfortable outdoors beside the fountain ponds.
Nut brown ale was SPOT ON what you expect.
Blood orange summer wheat a bit too more hoppy.
Dewey’s Amber, very good.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and beers for a home brewery. Didn’t test any of the menu this time.

Had late lunch there yesterday and ordered the 1/2 lb. Mushroom burger. It is served with potato chips and garnished with a generous slice of pickle. The 80/20 burger (the Chef told me) was so beefy and great tasting. The melted swiss cheese and mushrooms kicked the taste buds into high gear. More lunch than I'm accustomed to eating....light dinner for me later.:) Highly recommend it.
