If you are in the area and you need a walk in the fresh air, Winton Woods is a fine place to take it. There's nothing spectacular there, but it's out of the hubbub and sometimes, that's what you want. Look them up for other amenities, but we just enjoyed the hardwoods and walking off the concrete.

Lots of hiking and parks, but the water services are great! You can take pedal boats out on the river and float around for as long as you want. So fun!

We took our children here when they were younger, and now we love to return even though they're now young adults. Wonderful playground, beautiful lake, great walking paths.

There are many different hikes in this large park. The lake has summer activities. Don't forget to go to Nature's Nook

Winton Woods has several nice walking trails of varying lengths. The shortest one is a loop of between 1 and 1.5 miles. It goes around part of the lake. The park is dog-friendly to a certain degree. Dogs aren't supposed to be in the bathrooms or the area around them, but I don't know what you're supposed to do. Leaving... More

This large park offers something for everyone - camping, lake activities, fabulous walking and hiking trails, Parkie's Farm, picnic areas, and I'm sure I'm missing a few.

We really enjoyed our stay at the campground. It was very clean with a lot of nice campsites. We stayed right off the water which was nice. It is so close to many restaurants and stores if you need to go out and buy anything. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is they close the bathrooms from... More

Winton Woods Park is a very large public park with a great paved path around a lake. You can walk or bike (on your own or a rental); many people walk their dogs. There is a water play area, basketball courts, covered picnic areas, a snack shop, and a camp ground with a convenience store. At the lake, you can... More

The campground is mostly level and the sites easy to get into. Some with nice views of the lake, which is great for kayaking in. Surprised how hard to get into on the weekend, even after kids back to school in sept. The walking trail around the harbor is very nice too.

My wife and I recently stayed at this park. It is a very nice park. I was disappointed in the restroom. It wasn't big enough to accomadate the entire park. rv park. There is no water hook up nor sewer hook up for 2/3 of the rv park and only the one restroom with only two or three stalls and... More
