Holy Cross - Immaculata Church is a peaceful, holy place. Even in the traditional climbing of the steps on Good Friday in the midst of a mod of other worshipers it's easy to find peace. On any given Sunday you'll find a great liturgy and a welcoming parish. Give it a try!

It is tradition on Good Friday, for many people to climb 85 steps leading up to the Immaculata Church while praying the rosary. The church is beautiful as well as the view from the top! On Good Friday though, the traffic and lines are crazy and it is very hard to find a parking spot unless you get there early.

I went to the Good Friday 'Stair Climb' in 2015 and was really impressed with this church. i talked with a couple priests, nuns, etc. and they were all so NICE and inspiring. I would like to go back to a Sunday mass some day. I imagine that parking might be an issue - after all, it is in Mount... More

The church is old and beautiful in its own way. The sights of the city from up on the hill outstanding.

Over a 100 year old tradition, the Catholic faithful, pray the Rosary every Good Friday, neat Lenten experience ending in the church at the top of the steps. Beautiful church

This is a most beautiful church, and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. There are numerous murals and statues, and wonderful stained glass. It is an historic church in historic Mt. Adams. The views of the city are awesme. You should also visit Eden Park while on your visit to Mt. Adams.

I have made a list of places that we show to every visitor to Cincinnati when we give a tour of this city. Visiting Immaculata is at the very top of our list. Not only does the view from the top of the stairs (especially on a sunny day) get the highest praises from our guests, but when we take... More

This is the church at the top of the prayer steps. Each Good Friday, I pray the steps up to Immaculata. Pretty little church in a historic neighborhood.

This beautiful Catholic church is located on Guido Street in the Mt. Adams neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. It was built in 1859 and is listed in the National Register Of Historic Places. There are many facts regarding the story of this church. Too many to mention here, so I am just trying to hit the highlights. It sits high atop... More
