We visited with our small children who loved all the little discoveries such as the goldfish and various trees with flowers and fruit. Really nice gift shop that is reasonably priced and I wish we could have bought a small something, next time I will budget for it. Half of it was closed due to preparation for the monarch festival... Krohn conservatory houses interesting plants and flowers from various locations. Each May-June there is a butterfly show that attracts kids and adults alike.

A hidden gem in Cincinnati and fun for everyone. The kids will love it and something good to do on a chilly, or rainy day.

You here can observe different type of flowers and plants...but unfortunately there aren't so much description/guide to understand what you are looking! The orchidea area is very very nice, with in this case, some explanation to better know.

Enjoy the lush greenery around the inside stream. You could be fortunate to be there during the summer butterfly show. Great experience, or during Christmas for the live nativity. Always something interesting to see.

We were on our trip through Cincinnati. I wanted my wife to see this. I used to go there when I was a child. It was a special stop and we enjoyed our time there.

The Krohn hosted a wonderful Orchard show, along with a special exhibit and their regular exhibits. The orchards are definitely a unique plant, and they had many interesting and beautiful examples. This is well worth a visit while in Cincinnati.

It's not a huge conservatory but it's certainly worth a visit especially on a cold day to brighten your spirits. It costs $4 a person but with an online coupon by visiting their site you can save $1 for up to four people. It was a wee bit crowded today so we had to park along the side of the... More

I've been going to Krohn for as long as I can remember. Usually, it's an annual trip during Christmas. However, I decided to pop in on a whim a few weeks ago on a weekday, just to unwind. The fresh air, the beautiful plants and flowers, the sound of the waterfall is all you need for a little spiritual pick-me-up.... More
