The children always enjoy butterfly day. We found most of the children are fascinated by the butterflies. Each spring chrysalis arrive from a different area of the world. This year the Caribbean was represented complete with handcrafted fish and coral reefs. It is advisable to take a helper in case one or more children are not as fond of insects.... More

This was a perfect rainy day activity. The plants are beautiful. The most unusual for us were the purple peppers. Only thing missing is soft background music and plants need name tags.

The conservatory had several areas closed off as they prepare for the Fall show so they were not charging any admission this day. It was still nice to spend a 1/2 hour or so just admiring the many varieties of plants on display. The Fall show will start in September and we are looking forward to visiting here again once... The Conservatory offers a unique opportunity to view plants from other areas in a relaxing setting. They have rotating exhibits and the gift shop offers wonderful artisan gifts. Great photo opportunities here.

Definitely one of those places you have to see in Cincinnati. They do a great job with seasonal displays, Easter, Christmas, Butterfly shows, etc. Just a nice time walking around and seeing all the plants, ponds and flowers. They do have a nice gift shop also.

The Krohn Conservatory is the best in Cincinnati — which isn't saying much since it's also the only conservatory in town. Even the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio is bigger and better. All the same, the Krohn Conservatory is a pleasant place to visit any time of the year. The Christmas and Easter displays can get unpleasantly crowded. Admission... More

The best time to visit the Conservatory is during the Butterfly Show. We have taken our kids here for the past 10 years. It's one of our family's favorite traditions. However, it's a great place to visit any time of year. Christmas time is another great time to visit. Perfect for taking holiday photo's of the kids! After your visit... More

Both the exterior grounds and the interior collections have plenty of varieties of annuals, perennials, trees, plants and designs to enjoy. The interior is well-laid out with ramps to move about the area with ease. There are sculptures scattered throughout the various collections that are fun to spot. Enjoyed the collection pertaining to encouraging bees and butterflies to your own... More

I've lived in cincinnati my whole life and never visited the butterfly show until this year. It was an AMAZING experience and both my girls had butterflies landing on them. Such an amazing afternoon!
