Our tour started at Music Hall where we learned a LOT about the history and construction of the building. We then headed to Over The Rhine learning some history and seeing some great architecture along the way. Lunch was at the Sacred Beast which I highly recommend! A mini city tour on the streetcar followed taking us to Findlay Market . The Market has an amazing array of just about anything edible you could wish for. I would highly recommend taking one of Cincinnati Food Tour tours, you will not regret it!

We are working on taking food tours in every state, and Cincinnati Food Tours did not disappoint. Food was delicious, and portion sizes were generous, so we were stuffed at the end of the tour. Amy is one of the best tour guides we’ve ever met! We learned so much about the city while having a great time. Findlay Market is a must see, and the other restaurants were outstanding as well. We highly recommend this tour!

My son mentioned he had a vacation day on a Friday, the October. I booked the Cincinnati Food Tour, Hyde Park tour for the 2 of us. As expected the guide, Barb Cooper, the restaurant staff and the other foodie guests made it really fun. Barb researched the area and had a plethora of great history to share. The food and drink was amazing. I can’t wait to do another tour in November.

I was so disappointed by these tours. The impression we got in all the descriptions of the "Food Tours" in Cincinnati is that we would get some history of Cincinnati and try some cuisine to try. My daughter loves to cook and loves learning the culture of food and different ways that food is prepared so for her birthday she wanted to go on a Cincinnati Food Tour. We waited to eat because the tour started at 2pm. Some of the history was told on the streetcar but we were spaced too far to hear any information or the tour guide pointed behind us so we couldn't see anything. We didn't get to taste any food at all. Even the history was more like reading a text book other than learning interesting stories about Cincinnati. We were starving by the end and so disappointed. I felt bad that my daughter's birthday didn't turn out very nice. I would not recommend. Very expensive and definitely not worth it.

Sherry--I apologize for not responding sooner. For some reason, I missed your feedback, but I am sorry to hear that the City Tour was not what you expected. The City Tour, as you can see on our website, is specifically designed as an informational tour and does not include any food. I certainly hope you decide to join us again for a different tour that includes plenty of food and food for thought. Please message me if you do so that we can be sure that you select a tour to fit your needs. Thank you.

Barb did an excellent job coordinating a visit to four Findlay market small business food sources. We went to places we would never have gone without this tour. We met the owners which provided an interesting insight and history into their unique businesses. All the foods we sampled were delicious! Highly recommended. Will do it again.

This was my 3rd tour with Cincinnati Food Tours. Although the food is showcased, the bits of history you learn are interesting too. This time we took the Wyoming food tour through the Cincinnati suburb of Wyoming.
Kelly is a great tour guide. She lives and works in the area, being co-owner of two restaurants, CWC and Station BBQ.
The tours are a great way of finding new places to visit. I am definitely returning to the Wyoming Meat Market, the Wyoming Pastry Shop and Station BBQ. I loved learning about Wyoming and its neighbor Lockland.
I highly recommend the tours.

Over-the-Rhine Private Tour - Fun Fun Fun! A must to do with tour guide Heidi. Amazing! Good food, spirits and learning of OTR! We had a private group of 8 and it was the perfect size. Thank you Heidi and Barb! :)

Great food tour in Hyde Park Square in Cincinnati. Five establishments in close proximity to one another, all with fine offerings. Relaxed pace and discussions with owners in each. I’d return to any of them for a meal (or cup of tea).

Hyde Park is a "hidden gem" for those who don't live in the neighborhood. So many options for food and shopping! I'm glad you enjoyed the tour.

We went on the food tour yesterday and it was a fun time. There were samples along the way and we learned a lot about the vendors as well as Findlay Market. The tour is affordable at $15/person and is 90 minutes long. You do have some walking around the market but there are a couple of times when you get to sit for a bit. Each tour is different because different vendors participate on different days. We really enjoyed it! If you haven't been to Findlay or were intimidated by it's location - this is a great way to get introduced!

Took this tour with Barb yesterday. We would highly recommend it, to get a local "flavour" of the area, food and people. Walking round Findlay Market, in the sunshine, with a knowledgeable local guide like Barb is a real treat.

Are children allowed on the Findlay Market tour? Is there an additional cost? My daughter is 2 and I was hoping to bring her along. Thanks!

Yes. We are glad to have children on the tours. If they will be eating their own samples, they need to pay the regular price. A two-year-old or any other child who might be sharing the parent's samples or not eating samples at all is welcome at no charge. (Note: Strollers are difficult on the weekends because the market aisles are crowded.)

Check the Cincinnati Food Tours website where it says "Buy Tickets Now" or "Reservations." All the dates will show up in a drop-down menu on our ticket agency site. (Sorry but TripAdvisor doesn't allow me to include direct links in my reply.) Hope you can find a date that fits your needs.
