Went to Cincinnati Music Hall for the first time - even though I've lived just north of cincinnati for the past 12 years. Attended a Christmas concert (Cincinnati symphony orchestra POPS with Amy Grant and Vince Gill). We don't attend many events in Cincinnati downtown due to convenience issues and, frankly, concerns about safety/security. However, this was a GREAT concert... More

Since it's construction in 1878, Music Hall has developed a reputation as one of the acoustical gems of the Western Hemisphere. It's beautiful, and now keystones the tremendous redevelopment of Over the Rhine, an historical area of Cincy.

The acoustics are renowned - and so is their symphony and their May Fest, including a well regarded Opera Season. Their Pops concerts have lots of affordable deals - especially if you're a student!

The program for the inauguration of Louis Langree's tenure as Music Director of the Cincinnati Symphony was spectacular to this non-regular Symphony attendee. Really made me want to encourage my much younger friends (young professionals) to give the Symphony a try - considerable energy without a big ego, the Symphony members seem to really enjoy Louis (it was a point... Our daughter was in the Nutcracker as a Soldier and we do not go to the ballet often, but this was spectacular, warming and wonderful. The music and singing were far better than I was expecting, the staging terrific and the setting historic. Very happy. Our daughter's singing in the chorus was also wonderful. We've been back since, but not... More

The Cincinnati Pops continues to bring in top names to play with them. It is a real experience to see big names live with a full orchestra. This time it was Michael McDonald from the Doobie Brothers. He had the crowd in with his hits. Standing and clapping to the tunes. The Pops with JRM were very good. We find... More

I've had seats in every level of this hall, this time 10 rows from the stage, and the acoustics here are marvelous! A little cramped for a guy standing 6'3", but worth every penny for symphony concerts.

Beautiful building. Saw Pops show, sound was great. Theater seating was very good although seats and carpets are a bit worn. Fairly easy parking in the area.
