I had the pleasure of visiting the Ensemble Theater for the first time with my preteen daughter for their annual production of Cinderella. What a great little theater in OTR! Reasonable prices, great and talented cast, there isn't a bad seat in the house! There are light refreshments for sale including beer and wine. Please support this local treasure!

Ensemble theater is an anchor on the urban edge of OTR (Over the Rhine) in Downtown Cincinnati. Under the very capable leadership of D. Lynn Meyers, Manager and Artistic Director, attendance and Season Subscriptions continue to increase. The 2015-2016 30th anniversary season is a mixed bag of diversified tastes. I had the occasion to attend the 10:30PM special event showing... More

Been a subscriber to E.T.C. for over 25 years. Artistic Director D. Lynn Myers has shown a non-stop love of the current productions (including many regional and some national premieres) while continuing to bring around some 'tried-and true' stuff. I'm happy to say tickets are harder to get than 25 years ago, but are still readily available and worth the... More

This theater is a historic landmark seeing the many phases of the OVER-THE- RHINE area. Every seat in the theater is a good seat. The ticket prices are moderatly price with Tuesday nite dress rehersal being a pay what you can viewing this makes for the ultimate in Downtown entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing a play on a Friday night in the middle of all the activity in OTR. Be sure to park in the Gateway garage across the street - north on Vine to right on 12th, first right into the garage. Tell the attendant you are attending the play and cost is only $2!

We love this small local theatre. Not a bad seat in the house. Great productions and actors trying out new material. The kids loved it as well.

The Ensemble Theater is the best kept secret in Cincinnati! This theater is small enough to feel all the emotions of each play. The plays that are preformed here are not the typical "broadway series" that seats 500+ but the effect of each performance goes well beyond any broadway production I've ever seen. The ability to actually meet and greet... More

"Size Matters" is a one man show which describes what it is like to be "large" and how it affects the individual who fits that category. It went straight to the heart and brought not only tears, but smiles, and some laughs, but down deep it hit "home.!"

I don't know how they do it, but Lynn Meyers and her staff consistently present extraordinary, edgy shows that you won't see at other area theatres, and the quality is always tops. That's not to downplay the Playhouse in the Park, Know Theatre, CCM's productions, SCPA's productions, the Broadway Series, etc. Together, these venues have made Cincinnati a place that... More
